For context : this is a beloved Gamecube JRPG made by the same studio that made the Xenoblade Chronicle Series aka Monolith Soft.

I cannot recommend it enough. From first previews it seems that :

~~- Game runs at 60 fps~~ to be confirmed apparently [Baten Kaitos I & II HD Remaster: Q&A – Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc.](https://www.bandainamcoent.com/news/baten-kaitos-i-and-ii-hd-remaster-q-and-a) even tho trailer ran at 60.

    – UI has been entirely remade on both games

    – Some textures have been remade but it seems like upscaling otherwise

These games are rare as all hell to find and they cost you a bit to get: I’m so glad I get to play one of my childhood favorites on the Switch. So hyped!

FUN FACT: the World Record 100% speedrun for Baten Kaitos sits in at 337h 55m 00s

Yessss i never got a chance to play origins but i loved the original

  9. No_Composer_6040

Yes! Nice! Just wish they were sold separately- the second one was trash.

I love these games. However for origins, it gets brutally difficult very early on, to the point that the second disks first boss, i needed an action replay to even get past him. I really hope that they add easier difficulty modes at least for origins. The first game is not too difficult even when the second disc starts if you know what your doing with your deck. I know that people are going to say that the boss fight in the imperial fortress is tough, but if your leveling properly you should be a tad above level forty for this fight

I have no idea what these games are, but I’m intrigued by the card battle system! Is it like Slay the Spire at all? (Or a different card game game?)
