I’m just hoping this means we get more Hard Drive articles that people momentarily fall for.

Geopolitically wise, it speaks alot of their awareness of how oil will inevitably run out. I guess they want to make sure their money flow keeps coming even if their own country becomes poor.

    Well, poorer than normal.

  3. I own 43 shares! I’ll try to use my influence for good.

Itsa me Mario. Fucka da Houthis.

And while we’re at it any Vidya game journalists that write bad reviews for Nintendo might not want to visit Turkey.

Anyone who thinks Nintendo will compromise itself for anyone needs to calm down. This is the company that laughed Microsoft out of Japan. Also before anyone goes on about a potential takeover, a foreign entity cannot do a hostile takeover of a Japanese tech company.

Are you really expecting everyone to make an account to read the entire article?

    That’s gonna get a yikes/10 from me.

Thankfully Japan has laws which prohibit foreign countries from buying out Japanese companies. I do not think we have to worry… I hope.

Friendly reminder that a publicly traded company can’t pick and choose who buys their stock.

Can’t do anything now but wait to see if anything plays out from this.

  9. This is such a non issue, legally nothing outside of Japan can take over the company. And Nintendo doesn’t compromise it’s values for nobody.

I’mma try to influence things with my 177 shares

I’m the largest in my neighborhood probably.

Sorry. This is wrong. I’m the largest with my ten Nintendo shares.

Saudi Arabia already has much larger investments in several other companies we use more regularly, including Starbucks, Boeing, most banks, Facebook, Disney, CISCO systems, and most gas companies.

This seems like an article to create views more than anything.

If this were a problem and we were needing to vote woth our money, then we should stop flying in planes, drinking coffee, watching movies, shut off our Internet, and stop filling our cars with gas.

Nintendo is an independent company, as all of these are. I’ll never support Saudi Arabia’s views on many things, but I’m not gonna live in a hole to prove a point.

“Luigi my brother we must pray 5 times a day and recite the Qur’an

“Yes brother Mario, by next year we will have saved up enough coins to go on the Hajj”

So that’s why I woke up with an unidentified feeling of dread this morning.

Peach and Daisy about to get booted from Mario Kart.

Nothing will happen out of this, holy shit people. SNK is primarily owned by Saudi Arabia and we all know that women not only exist in SNK games, but are able to do literally anything AND show even a single pixel of skin.

Saudi Arabia’s government is downright f*cked, but they aren’t going to do shit to Nintendo and change everything about the company like everyone is acting.
