    How would you play Wario Ware Touched? The lack of mic and touch screen (In Docked) would make it pretty unviable.

    Not much difference with how the others (NES, GB, etc.) are presented. What I’d wonder about if it ever happens is how the games would look like and work with the dual screens. Bottom tactile screen was quite important in majority of the games (not to mention the mic that was required in some others). I say majority because I remember playing games that didn’t really make a use of it, rarer tho.
    I tried a few DS games on a Retroid Pocket and it was already a hassle to switch between the two screen on the same screen, nothing’s better than the real deal imho.

    Wario Ware DIY should make that list. The ‘game sharing’ of the micro games via NSO could be interesitng.

    I think once we get into gamecube/ds territory we’re gonna be looking at remakes/remasters.

    I would love to play the 3DS versions of Ocarina of Time and Majoras Mask on the Switch (out of scope of what OP is talking about).

    I was actually thinking about the fact they’ll probably do DS next. A lot of the games actually made very little use of the touchscreen so they could make it work. Maybe provide a gyro-controlled cursor (alongside touch in handheld play) for the bottom screen to help close the gap. It’s the last console where the games have a smaller file size and the games aren’t as eligible for remasters as Gamecube/Wii/3DS. I’d only expect to see this happen on the next console though.

    You realize how much the Wii U is forgotten when people say that this would not be possible on the Switch because of the two screens and Nintendo itself made this possible on the Wii U.

    Honestly, I hope they do DS before GameCube if they even do it. It may be because I never played GC games but it would be cool if they’d go this far with NSO.

    lol, yeah Super Mario 64 DS is really the definitive version of that game. You haven’t played Mario 64 until you’ve played it on a d-pad. /s

    There’s no way this would work docked unless they add a way for a second Switch to be a Wii U-like game pad.

    The most realistic thing about this is how most of the launch games are Mario… On a real note I don’t think the dual screen of the DS would work very well on the switch. There also isn’t that big of a need for this store because DS consoles and games are pretty widely available.
