I still own the original release on the PS2 that I bought when it first came out on the PS2.
that all my friends bought because of me on the PS2.
and all the other systems rolling down the road of time and whatnot.

A friend recommended this to me as I typically only play games & franchises I’m familiar with (Mario, Zelda, etc). This game is straight up fun. That’s all you need to know. If you are looking for several hours of fun for a cheap price then give this a shot.
This Game makes me crazy motion sick
In EU it’s at €4.99 for now if anyone wonder (lowest price ever was €3.99 but happened only once, €4.99 is more common).
I can’t get past the tutorial screen help. I move the stick up and goes left. Stick left-right does nothing.
This game is worth it for the intro alone.
Just played the free trial, loved the tone, music, and animation but the gameplay just didn’t stick. It feels it would be a great combination of Everything, WarioWare, and Super Monkey Ball but I got bored on the third level. 9 minutes of rolling the same things got stale really fast.

I think I played this one on Xbox gamepass, I had a lot of fun with it.
This series is one of my all time favorites. Bought the 360 one out of a discount bin in like 2008 and it’s been a family favorite since then.

idk why people love this game so much. i get it’s quirky but the controls are frustrating and it gets boring quick. i am not a fan
If you have never played it, I really recommend playing it only on a Playstation controller. The stick position is critical to comfort and playability and the franchise was made specifically for the PS controller dual analog setup. On a Nintendo or Xbox controller with the offset analog sticks this game gets frustrating because you do not use your thumbs in the correct way.

One of the best games to own on Switch.
The only thing I can hope for in We Love Katamari is a revamp of the motion control option; the way it’s set up in Reroll doesn’t work at all. But playing with proper gyro control would be really fun!
I had gold points so it was totally free! It wasn’t really my thing when I tried it last time but for this game, free is a total god tier deal. I’m happy to give it another try cause I love everything about it aside from it just not being my kind of game.

I’m not up on Katamari and have never played it… But what’s the difference between Reroll, and the new re-release that was announced recently?

I feel obligated to warn people that this game (may) completely murders your joy-con analog sticks, so please use a controller if you can. You’ll be drifting in no time since it’s a game that requires a lot of quick, constant, snappy “aggressive” movements from both of your analog sticks.
Mileage may vary, but this game alone made an almost new pair of joy-cons drift on both sticks by the end of the playthrough for me.
My kid played this game for 2mins, turned to me, and said “daddy, this game is not very good”
