  1. I imagine it’s easy for them, but I wish they wouldn’t add so many Tour tracks.

    Fruit Cup:

    – Amsterdam Drift

    – Riverside Park GBA

    – DK’s Snowboard Cross Wii

    – Yoshi’s Island

    Boomerang Cup:

    – Bangkok Rush

    – Mario Circuit DS

    – Waluigi Stadium GCN

    – Singapore Speedway

    – Singapore Speedway

    – Bangkok Rush

    – DK Summit/DK’s Snowboard Cross

    – Amsterdam Drift

    – Riverside Park

    – Mario Circuit DS

    – Waluigi Stadium

    – Yoshi’s Island

Besides Yoshi’s Island, I think I’m most excited for Riverside Park. It’s always pretty cool to see how the GBA levels get translated into 3D for the first time.

  4. Besides Yoshi’s Island and DK Summit, kinda underwhelming. Really wish we weren’t getting three city tracks in one pack. Two were already pushing it in previous packs, they’re just so boring.

  5. Shnazzytwo

I really need them to stop doing Mario Kart Tour courses as the bulk. Every single tour course is a snorefest.

But hey, Finally 1 NEW course. (though you could probably consider the super circuit course as new too)

  6. NeonAtlas

Seems like a solid enough line up of tracks. Looking forward to it.

  7. ElectrosMilkshake

When are we getting Baghdad Boulevard?

As someone who absolutely adores Mario Kart DS… DS Mario Circuit, really? I’m guessing it was chosen because it’s one of the few MKDS tracks that has never been remade before. But there is reason for that. It’s an entirely forgettable track. I mean I literally forgot it existed. Probably one of the most boring tracks in the game.

The rest of the choices look solid, besides the MKDS choice being poor. Riverside Park and Yoshi’s Island will be highlights probably for me. Some people are down on the inclusion of so many MK Tour City tracks, but honestly I quite like them. Three in one pack though might be pushing it, but that means there are only two more possible Tour City tracks left (LA Laps and Vancouver Velocity) in the next two waves.

For those who have not played Tour, Singapore and Bangkok are definitely much more interesting tracks than some of the other city courses like London

  10. naskai8117

Tbh just the fact that Waluigi Stadium is included makes me love this. I loved that course back in double dash

  11. Conchobair

Looks like fun. Can’t wait for Waluigi Stadium and more characters is always a plus.

  12. Fun_Store9452

They picked the most boring and forgettable Mario Kart DS track to be remade.

  13. andysniper

I just want Wario Colosseum and Daisy Cruiser from Double Dash, and it feels increasingly unlikely we will get either.

  14. Hurricane1123

No offense to anyone who genuinely loves Mario Kart Tour, but I honestly think only 1 tour track should be included in each wave. This one has 3.

I prefer they give more time to the N64, Double Dash, DS and Wii tracks rather than Tour tracks taking the place of some of those tracks.

  15. corncob_subscriber

Unpopular opinion: Sydney and Paris are both really fun levels. Does anyone who plays tour know if there’s more US levels? I’d love to see New Orleans.

  16. Am I the only one who misses many of the tracks from Mario Kart Double Dash? Instead of the sometimes really boring Mario Kart Tour tracks, they could have used some from the GameCube era.

  17. Yerm_Terragon

The biggest takeaway here is that this reinforces the prefix leak, which did suggest this wave would have 3 Tour courses and 1 new one. So for Waves 5 and 6, we will only see a combined 7 more retro courses get added in, which is really disappointing to hear. We got a good amount of fan favorites so far, but there is so much wasted potential here. Mario Circuit from the DS? Not Airship Fortress? Not Delfino Square? Not Luigi’s Mansion?

  18. probablyasummoms

So if I buy the $25 dollar pass it’ll give me access to the first 3 waves and the last 3 coming out right? Kind of like a season pass?

  19. Where_Is_Old_Zealand

this line up seems the weakest of the waves so far.

also how tf did Mario Circuit from the DS beat out Double Dash courses??

  20. OwnManagement

We’re never getting Wario Colosseum, are we?

  21. town-darling

If you haven’t played Tour’s iteration of it, Riverside Park GBA is absolutely beautiful. Thrilled that it’s headed into the game, it really is a great track.

  22. TheLimeyLemmon

Do you think we’ll eventually get an MK8D “Gold Edition” once all the DLC tracks are released? I have it on the Expansion Pack right now, but it’d certainly be nice to have all 96 courses of MK8D on the cart someday.

  23. venomforty

people keep complaining about the amount of city tracks not realizing that they’re essentially more or less the reason for the booster course pack in the first place. the tour servers will shut down one day and the courses would be lost to time if not for their inclusion in deluxe. i agree they’re not necessarily my favorite ones, but it’s sorta just how it is and shouldn’t really be surprising or anything

  24. stuartdenum

tour is mk9, wii u dlc had 16 tracks 9 of them new. booster pass has 48 tracks with 10 tour tracks so far. they are trying to bring as many tracks from as many games as possible to mk8. this franchise has been active for 30 years, some stuff will be left out. yes the tour tracks look different arguably worse but it’s a phone game what do you expect? they were already doing city inspired tracks in 8 with toad harbor aka san francisco. this game is also for children and i imagine kids from those respective cities/countries are excited to see their hometown represented. 32-34 new non-tour tracks for a game from 2017 and y’all are still complaining. give epd 9 some credit

  25. Yooo Riverside Park ! Can’t wait to hear the remix. I always loved Riverside and Lakeside’s Park music. Glad to see one of them coming back.

Now to wait for SNES Bowser Castle, because except for Super Circuit, this is the only SNES theme that never had any remaster.

  26. _heisenberg__

Finally. Wailuigi’s Stadium. Also I really hope they at some point add a mega cup option, where we can just go through every single course at random like mario kart wii.

  27. MonkeysxMoo35

I feel like a lot of people don’t realize that this DLC exists to preserve Tour content just as much as it does to give Mario Kart 8 Deluxe more content. Eventually Tour will shut down and it’s content will no longer be accessible, that’s just how mobile games are. But MK8D will always be playable, even when online multiplayer is shut off. Tour will obviously get more content that won’t be included in this DLC, but as it stands a good chunk of the current original tracks have been brought over.

  28. Boops_McGee

Can’t wait for Mario Kart 8 deluxe complete edition on the next Nintendo console

  29. DrToadigerr

Singapore Speedway is probably my favorite city track from Tour. I understand why people are sleeping on it though cause the other Tour tracks that have been added are kinda bland.

  30. A_Shiny_Noctowl

all i want is double dash daisy cruiser, my beloved

  31. cafffffffy

I just want koopa cape from wii that is all I ask 😩

  32. Wubbzy-mon

These waves just keep getting better and better.

  33. The people on here complaining about how mid this is haven’t played Singapore Speedway, it’s a super fun track, probably the best city track

  34. sneakers-to-work

Should I just get Mario Kart 8 Deluxe? I had MK8 on Wii U, and played it a bunch in 2014-2015. Lost interest after that, which is why I never got MK8 Deluxe.

However, I am kind of missing Mario Kart, and it looks like a completely new one won’t come out for years. So, IDK what to do
