Another thing the internet is destroying if you think about it… throw a webinar with enough server and you just saved a ton of money

Wasn’t E3 as a whole cancelled anyways? Or am I mistaken?

Man, the whole big exciting thing about June as an adult is that you get to find out what big games Nintendo has cooking in the oven. I find it particularly concerning that IGN reports the reason why Nintendo says they will skip E3 this year is that they “would have no major titles to discuss.” Hoping that doesn’t mean we won’t have major tentpole games after Pikmin 4.

It’s time to let E3 die. There’s no point to it anymore. My guess is that this might be the last E3, and then it will be cancelled for good, or perhaps replaced by Geoff’s summer game event bonanza.

I would like to take this opportunity to confirm that I also will not be at E3 2023

Next: E3 confirms it won’t be at E3

Unless they’re confirming Metroid Prime 2 Remastered, they can shut the hell up.

A long time ago, E3 was delayed by one month because Nintendo was not allowed to make any new product announcements during the month they did all of their financial reporting. As someone else said, they aren’t doing a Direct in June either. But it would be strange if that was still the case and Nintendo couldn’t just say “due to Japanese financial reporting laws…”
I feel like this is the end of an era. i mean this has been a long time coming. and i haven’t cared about e3 since like the wii/ps3/360 generation. But it was still a fun memory waiting for the announcements every year.

Both Nintendo and Microsoft are not attending.
So far, the only major company that will be there [is Ubisoft](https://www.gamesindustry.biz/ubisoft-confirmed-for-e3-2023).
