    I hate the fact that I bought these games for $1 (Portal 1) and $2 (Portal 2) on Steam over five years ago makes it seem like $12 is still a lot, but they really are great games that are easily worth $12 without that context.

    I thought I had played Portal 2 years ago but apparently I had not. Finished it over the holidays and it was fantastic, highly recommended. I’ve been meaning to go back and try the coop version with my kiddo.

    I got both games on Steam for $3. And because of that I know they’re worth $12 but I’m still having a problem paying that. Why don’t 3rd party games on Switch ever go on sale as cheap as they do on Steam?

    Portal 2 is one of the best games ever made, $12 for both Portal 1 and Portal 2 is an excelent price (even thought they’re both sold for less than $2 on Steam often, but I doubt we will see those prices on the Switch)

    I guess this doesn’t include the steam workshop maps, or something similar? Those were an extra couple hundred hours worth of gameplay.

    Can anyone advise if this version offers 3rd person perspective? I would like to buy this for my wife to play, but she gets motion sickness very quickly for any first person perspective games.

    I’ve played both of these so many times that the puzzles aren’t challenging anymore and it’s pretty much lost the replay value for me. I’ll always remember the good times though.

    Also on sale in the Uk eshop – I had wishlisted it, bought it and did the first 9 or 10 rooms earlier, love the game and can’t wait to do the 2nd one too (very funny storyline)

    Ran through Portal 1 last night. Brought back a lot of memories, even remembered a lot of the challenge map solutions from getting the Achievements in the Orange Box on Xbox.

    So glad I made this purchase. I’ve been around since the games release and never played it, but heard a bunch about it. Bought it last night, finished portal 1 and started portal 2. I was up all night. So much fun, if you’ve never played it. You’re missing out big time. Buy it. Now
