I’m not watching this so what did they give it.

Played through the demo and it looks incredible in the oled Switch , but even after the demo I’ve already completed 10% progress and as pretty as it is it just doesn’t justify the $60 price for me. Mainly as the gameplay does not have much going on for multiple play through unlike the main series.
Forgot to add that the voice over performance and music is great, so maybe will pick it up when Nintendo have a massive 10% off sale.

Still trying to figure out who this game is for exactly.

Then companies could simply give games scores and no article or vids versa but I imagine it has a broader appeal and benefits them how it currently is. I see no problem with it.

I still have to finish the 1st 2 games and then play the 3rd one. I’m sure it’s a good game but don’t see this being worth $60. Will wait for a discount.

• $60/£43
• Puzzle Platformer
• The story introduces new elements to keep it fresh over the course of the game.
• Range of enemies opens up opportunity to change play style.
• Boss fights have great one-off mechanics.
• The game creates a satisfying flow which keeps each chapter fresh.
• Exploring is always worth the extras you earn.

Maybe this will shut up all of those people whining about the price. It was a stupid argument in the first place.

I’ve never played a Bayonetta game, but this looks super cute. I’m trying this one out of I get around to it.

Not a fan of the artstyle. I doubt Bayonetta fans are going to care much for the gameplay or the story either (they’re still reeling from Bayo 3’s awful plot)
Which begs the question why this game was made in the first place and who it’s supposed to be for exactly.

Big fan of Bayo. Wanted to love Astral Chain but just didn’t. This seeming retread of the ‘control two characters at once’ thing has me wary.
Also, this is overpriced. When games like Hades and Hollow Knight launch around $20, you can’t charge $60 for this in good conscience.

This looks delightful. Just not sure I wanna pay $60 for it

This review made the game look a lot more fun than the Nintendo direct trailer did.
