Does anyone care to offer a opinion on physical vs digital? I have always liked physical copies of games just because it’s fun to have the box and see the art but logically it feels like digital might be the better way to go because it can never “break”.

I know Nintendo updates some of their cartridges continuously as updates are released for the games which is kinda nice.
So basically wondering if I should get physical now or later

so i havnt bought a console since PS4 came around(actually didnt buy it, my best man gave me it for being his best man)
so me and the kid (4) were going through Target on friday and he actually seemed interested in video games, so i made an irresponsible purchase and bought the OLED system and mario Odyssey and the pro controller. playing the demos, i immediately wanted Metroid Prime.
not until today after going to a gamestop and started looking online for a hard copy, did i realize how new this game is and how much scalpers have ruined the most basic of fun. guess ill be waiting until the frenzy dies down and buy it for below MSRP.

Why not just buy it directly from [nintendo.com](https://nintendo.com)? They’ve had it in stock since they announced it. Got my physical copy mailed to me without any issues.

I find it funny that I went to the target that I used to work at (in electronics) a week after they came out and they didn’t even realize it was already out. They thought it was still street dated. That place went to hell after I quit, but at least I got a copy hassle free!
