Mother 3 is a great game, but to call every JRPG that followed “boring” is an insanely stupid argument. I can already think of at least 5 RPGs that have come out in the last 6 years that have been narrative masterpieces that meet, and surpass Mother 3 in their incorporation of heavy themes and storytelling, some of them this guy even shows in this dumb video. Also, calling Earthbound “boring” is already pretty egregious.
