Played through the Japanese demo already, the game is beautiful and delightful to play. Very interesting take on RTS on console controls, not sure if later stages will become frustrating. Either way I’ll be picking this up cause I am a sucker for VanillaWare.

Oooh I loved grimgrimoire on the PS2, was hoping this port would be brought to the west, this is great news!

From what I’ve heard, 13 Sentinels was a spiritual sequel to this game, so I’m willing to give it a shot.
Based on the [website](https://nisamerica.com/grimgrimoire), there will be a physical edition. It’d probably be safe to preorder, since niche games like this aren’t guarenteed to be in stock. My Gamestop only had one copy of 13 Sentinels at launch.
The case will have a reversible cover. The design was picked by a vote, and all three consoles ended up with the same result.
NIS had a collector’s edition that includes a soundtrack CD set, art cards, keychains, an acrylic display, and a hardcover art book.
