I spent 400 Pokécoins a couple days before this happened on upgrades (1 item, 1 Pokémon storage). I thought they barely do this, so I should just buy them. When I saw this with my 220 coins I hoped it stayed a here so I can get it, and it was quickly removed

I had the red dot like there new in the shop, I already claimed my free gift at midnight. So I rush in to find nothing. Not a single new item. Will uninstall if it’s not reintroduced.

It is such a bummer for people who missed it BUT that one box was too good to be true, which is probably the case. Niantic most likely put in the incorrect values of the Box and took it down immediately when they noticed it.
It really sucks for those who missed it

I think they were meant to be released in conjunction with the next com day, since the only way to get shiny Togepi will be from eggs.
