I haven’t played Dead Cells in quite awhile but this makes me want to pick up the dlc pack. Love me some Castlevania.

Does the physical copy of this game ever go on sale? I recently got a switch oled and I’m kinda enjoying building up a physical library of games.

I just bought this from the eshop for $22-the base game and the DLC, I had $7 in rewards to use towards it, can’t wait to play this docked, have been looking forward to this since the video game awards

As someone who played Castlevania COTM literally 100+ times and is their top 10 fave games of all time…
How likeable is DC and this dlc?
Easier? Harder?

Is it possible to play this DLC off of a new save file or is it end game content?

Is Dead Cells worth getting? I got Hades. And it was decent.

“Just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in!”
Seriously Konami should just hand over the Castlevania keys if they are just going to keep the franchise dormant, because this is fantastic. My favourite DLC by far.
Dracula is also hard as hell which I love.

Has anyone seen improvement in load times? One of the last updates seems like it increased the load times 2-3x what they were previously.

Is there any chance for a physical release with all the DLC (at least until the Castlevania-DLC) on cart? I am not a big fan of digital releases and owning the base game on physical, but all the DLC digital feels stupid (looking at you, Binding of Isaac).
Dead Cells always was interesting to me, but due to Roguelike burnout (looking at you [again!], Binding of Isaac) I never picked it up. But a Castlevania crossover I just cannot ignore!

When I finally got my own Switch, I ended up getting this and *Hades* on sale. However, I soon had to pick one or the other, as even though they’re not mutually exclusive, I had to make it so since doing 2 of such rogue-likes became too much. I went with *Hades*. Dunno if I’ll ever get back into *DC* soon, but I have friends who play this, and whenever I’m over at their place, at least I get to see plays there!
And I do still have my save file on there (don’t have the climbing rune, but did unlock 1 Boss Cell), so perhaps I’ll delve into the CV content there! If nothing else, looking forward to a “Castlevania game” where you can evade 🙂
