Dangit.. I had 137. Really enjoyed this overall though. I’m slowly becoming a mostly salmon run player at this point.
I got 89 eggs 💀
Had a lot of fun with this big run, the high tides were my favourite waves! I hated getting the same weapon for multiple waves I was fuming when I had the sniper for all 3 waves i felt useless!
I’m far from the best Salmon Run player out there, but I’m pretty proud of myself for finishing in the top 5% of both Big Runs so far.
I’m in the the top 50 not bad since I just got n2 the game about three dys ago
I had to sweat my ass off and play all weekend to just barely get silver. I really like these Big Run events, but I wish the rewards were given out differently. It should be a target for golden eggs that you need to reach for the gold statue. I’m not sure why they insist on making it a ranked situation. I play Salmon Run because I don’t really enjoy PvP but really enjoy cooperating with teammates in PvE. Why not have a reward scheme that embraces that?
Not even top 50% this time, yikes
Missed top 5% last time by 4 eggs, but got lucky this time and pulled off 162 with randoms.
Felt great but it’d be nice if they did something to fix the RNG on weapons to prevent stuff like 3 chargers or other terrible sets which ruin far too many shifts.
Looks like Bronze for me. I’ll take it though, considering I was playing with randoms. It also got me into VP for the first time, so something right must’ve happened.
I do wish the goal was a bit different. Maybe a community goal instead of a competition? Something along the lines of collecting a certain amount of eggs or beating the boss a set amount of times.
i can comfortably stay in eggsecutive VP despite whatever weapons are in the rotation but i guess getting top 5% is another tier of skill entirely. i played a shit ton of games to get silver
as much as i like inkblot trying to get everyone to stay near the basket was torture
I got 116. Last big run I got 87 out of 88. At least I improved…
89 gang, rise!
This was my first Big Run…and it was fun because I like Salmon Run, but overall it just felt like trophy grinding. Unless they change up the rewards in the future it’s personally not something I’m going to go out of my way for in the future :/
My record was 125 Eggs, a step back from my 135 in Wahoo World. I felt this map was harder becuase the retreat routes were very limited (Hello, Splatoon 3’s map design) and the damn Flyfishes and Steel Eels didn’t stop spawning during the waves no matter how much I killed them.
Made silver by literally one egg!
I need friends to play with on splatoon 3 who wants to join? 😊🙃
Bronze again. I’m proud this time because I barely played it after getting burned out on the first Big Run (I’m also fucking sick rn and couldn’t play a lot but that’s not the point).
Not a big fan of Inkblob as a Salmon Run map tbh, too small for my ink brain. The new boss is pretty cool though, and hard with randoms.
Overall fun Big Run. For the most part did well on inkblot, but I did have some bad losing streaks. Made it to silver rank like last time so happy with that.
Damn, I totally forgot it was on! I really enjoyed the first one too, can’t make that mistake again.
Missed silver by 4 eggs again. But I got EVP for the first time! EVP feels much better than profreshional purgatory. A lot easier to avoid deranking too. I feel like I’m getting better at the game and have high hopes for the future and next big run!
Where can I get Grandtheft auto San Andreas for Nintendo switch?
This big run made me realize how unfair the grizzco pay system is. Most places will pay you more during overtime but it’s the exact opposite with salmon run. I love the mode but making the rewards much less frequent the more you play kinda takes the incentive out of continuing to play sometimes.
Low Tide felt like a death sentence. In any other map, it makes the area wider. For the Academy, it just makes it deeper, not helping you in anyway.
So how the fuck can you actually be good at this? I’m decent in anarchy battles, you know what you have to focus on, there’s four enemies, one objective. In Salmon Run, the moment I dare to fucking *blink* 12 fish beasts spawn behind me, in front of me, floor is covered in death ink so I can’t move and my team mate is begging to be revived on the other and of the map. These ultra bosses in 4th waves are *laughably* impossible, like, we barely even scratched anything off its health bar.
Not just a rant, I’d appreciate a decent newbie guide to get you in… the top 50%, lol. I just want to know if there’s some basic strategy I’m missing.
Does Salmon Run paint count towards the ‘Wandercrust’ adventures? This is the questline in the mobile app, from the shrimp fellow.
