From that list and from that criteria, I would guess the following will get inducted:
*Angry Birds
*Golden Eye 007
*Quake
*Wii Sports

Holy shit they’re all video game classics there… I can’t tell which one I should nominate…
Between them all, I wanna go with Angry Birds, Last Of Us, and Wii Sports as my top 3.

Why does it have to be only one? Wii sports, angry birds, goldeneye, quake, and last of us all deserve a spot in my opinion. Each of them did something that changed the videogame landscape, each deserve a place.

Ah, who can’t forget about some of the most memorable games of all time such us, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, Wii Sports, Golden Eye 007, and-

Angry Birds and Wii Sports would have to be the last entries from the original nomination class that haven’t made it in, I think? It’s time.

They’re all western games besides Wii Sports.
Wizardry? Are you serious?

I stuck my copy to my bedroom wall and it’s still there.

Well Angry Birds is pretty influential. Definitely got me hooked when I played it years ago and replaying “Angry Birds Classic” can get pretty addicting too.
Also Wiig Sports? Never heard of it. I know that one Wii Sports game was very popular when it came out in 2007.

Wii Sports and Barbie Fashion Designer, I think, were probably the ones with the biggest impact in that super stacked group—proving that girl-targeted games could be successful and the encapsulation of everything the Wii came to be remembered for respectively. Both basically kicked off new genres.

IMO it should be either Wii Sports or (I hate to say it) Angry Birds
According the Museum’s own criteria, i think Wii Sports is probably going to make it. That and Angry Birds would be my best bets
It’s wild to me that FIFA 23 and NBA2K23 are even options. (And Barbie, I guess)
But I guess the entrants are elected by popular vote…? Seems like a weird way to decide what goes in a museum, don’t let 4chan catch wind of it
…fuck me, I just noticed the typo in the title.
Serves me right for trying to submit this on my phone five minutes after waking up.
If I had to pick top 5 (in no particular order) Quake, Wii Sports, Goldeneye, Modern Warfare and Age of Empires are what make the most sense.
All of them were major titles that reshaped industry standard on how their genres were approached, and led the trends of gaming through their heydays.
What is Wiig sports? Is that a leap pad game or something
This museum is amazing. Top attraction in Rochester.
I’ve still got my copy that came with the Wiig console https://i.imgur.com/WPEMYzd.jpg
What the fuck are 80% of these nominations?
From that list and from that criteria, I would guess the following will get inducted:
