Seeing this raid screen now after uninstalling March 31st… I don’t even miss it. Niantic really missed the mark on this one. They’re going to lose serious, day 1 players over this.

Even if you were to recruit your other friends to play like Niantic wants, they’d all start out at level 1 and be too weak to make a difference. It will be hard for them to progress too with the new changes.

What if to make raiding easier for players they took every active gym raid of the same Pokémon within x distance, varied by number of gyms in the area, and they all had their own shared lobbies so they threw Lugia raids within 20 miles for less populated gyms and maybe .5-1miles for more populated all funneled into the same lobby so you could see 3 in a lobby and they may not be right there but it would get you to walk to a gym which they want and also give us the chance to actually participate in a raid which we want, thoughts?

I’m getting my shiny Jirachi, because I paid for it, and currently transferring all my mons to Pokémon Home, then I’m done.
Honestly, the Jirachi grind is showing more than anything how dull and grindy a lot of the features are in this game, without remote raids, not much is fun.

I waited about 1.5 hours for pokigenie to even get to 8 lobbies before mine.
I had to go to 3 different gyms for this one raid. 2 of them timed out on me.
I didn’t even end up using pokegenie. I kept inviting everyone on my list until I got 6 for Lugia.
I can’t be mad though, end up getting a lucky.

My husband and I are reverting back to Geocaching, actually had a really fun time out hunting today. I forgot how less stressful and how rewarding fining the physical container is.

best way to get players to do in-person raids was the Ex-raid invite – I did as few and about 40 – 60 players would all turn up at the same time at the same place – players I never saw otherwise. And it gave the opportunity to actually make friends / contacts with a few that were so minded.
Really a pity they don’t send out invites for the Elite raids – haven’t got a hope otherwise even using campfire if that is what Niantic are trying for

Doing remote raids with poke genie I never put any thought into my raid party. I used whatever pogo suggested cause we would win anyway. Having less people to raid with means I might have to start working on my raid teams, although I think many raids are still impossible to do with say 4 people?
