Reminder that this is *just* the cowabunga collection. Not even considering Shredder’s Revenge. Gaming brethren, this is how we bring back the good stuff. We pay for the good stuff.

I found 90% of the games unplayable and there are about 5 games which are the same.

Am I just in the wrong menu? I feel like there are a lot of games missing.

Is the nest game with the dam level in this collection?

I have yet to buy mine… but I will eventually pick this up when I get time off work and need something to occupy me.

I remember around release, there was an article saying that a second collection with the 2000s games was possible based on sales of this collection. Hopefully that ends up happening.

boggles my mind that the Castlevania Advance collection wasn’t released physically

copium: Konami is holding off to bundle it when they release the Castlevania DS collection

Ok, I’m 38; Can anyone tell me if there was ever a time period in which people frequently used the word cowabunga? I’ve never heard anyone say this word before

Bought it just for tournament fighters such a great fighting game from back in the day

I feel like this has to have been some of the reason we’re getting an actual Last Ronin game. Corporate people probably realized that TMNT are still decently popular.

I bought it yesterday. Guess I tipped it over.

Did they fix it so you can play with a single joycon held sideways yet?

All of the games fit that button layout, so it make no sense that they required a full pair or joycons or pro controller.

Great news for beat ’em ups. It’s a genre I’ve been long hoping for be resurrected.

I was glad Shredder’s Revenge sold very well, also. SOF4 currently sits at around 2.5 million units sold and I can’t wait for a sequel to that because that game was so, so good.

The developers behind these new games know their sauce, I highly recommend checking out a behind-the-scenes making of these titles. Seeing them literally reference strategy guides/fighting moves guides from the ’90s is mint AF.

I’m waiting for it to go back on sale like the $20 one I missed. I played these games so many times as a kid so I’d like a bit of a lower price, but Shredder’s Revenge has been amazing!

It really would be nice if they expanded the library to include titles from the 2003 series and the 2007 movie as well. Those are games that really needed a a compilation of their own and this would’ve been a good opportunity to give them some new life.

It’s one of, if not the best retro compilation ever.
