I used Luke in ML Premier level 50 last season but it was more for fun because I was like, “What if I wanted to have fun?” And I did. For when ML Premier level 50 comes back this season, it’ll be the time.
Ultra league is difficult to choose am build! I’ll say shadows are in the same category as XL just becouse of the amount or resources needed without the XL candy! Very limited meta on the XL candy/ Legendary! I’ll say a legendary must be used in the team!
I've got a bare minimum of pokemon built for ultra league, A lucky talonflame, Gyarados and Muk work decently well for me
I have 90 Pokémon built for great league but only have 5 Pokémon for ultra and 5 for master. I’m working on it for sure lmao but thank you for the knowledge

I really enjoyed playing shadow zard last time UL was around after your recommendation. That blast burn taking away half hp on a tapu fini will never not be funny to me

My mental health journey and hiatus from the game for 2 1/2 months has really helped. I reached ELO today in only 205 battles and i'm starting a personal best 2192. This is over 140 points better than my prior best starting ELO (2039). Thankful for all your vids and streams that I learn from, thankful for JamieFromPallett who has been an encourager and TrafDLaw who has helped me out when I didn't deserve it. I'm using a modified form of his (Traf's) Spring Cup line of Ferrothorn/Tentacruel/Lanturn (except Traf leads shadow Mawile). This ELO is even after starting today with a 1-4, but finished with a 4-1 and 5-0 (including in that perfect set 3 wins over double grass teams). My plan going forward is to start each season later (unless it's a cup I really want to play).
One thing to keep in mind when pvpoke lists a pokemon as an XL: that simply means the best version of it is an XL. It does not mean that XL is required to get it to the CP maximum. So there are pokemon you can probably discuss for UL that are listed as XL, but are not XL dependent if they have a higher attack IV.

Dan, next time you can type "!legendary" in the search bar to exclude legendaries.
Love this series, and try !legendary in the search bar. This will find everything except the criteria after the ! for anything that is indexed/searchable.
