>Captain your fishing trawler to explore a collection of remote isles, and their surrounding depths, to see what lies below. Sell your catch to the locals and complete quests to learn more about each area’s troubled past. Outfit your boat with better equipment to trawl deep-sea trenches and navigate to far-off lands but keep an eye on the time. You might not like what finds you in the dark…

Demo was fun!
QuietRobe
This had my interest since the Nintendo Presents I believe it was in, or the Indie one. Either way, looks like a chill, but hauntingly spooky vibe that triggers my irrational fear of the deep. Probably will get this on a good sale and save it for Halloween season.

Really loving the art style; it reminds me of the vector graphics from those old Macromedia Flash/Shockwave games from the early aughts…
SquidFetus
I played this for six hours yesterday. I was already interested in it, but I didn’t expect it to reel me in (hyuk hyuk) as much as it did.
Great game!

This looks so cool! How much is it?

The demo was really good and got me *hooked* much more than expected.

Reminds me a bit of “The Flame in the Flood” which is an excellent game. Highly recommend!
isleofwolves
Played this for 6-8 hours today on PS5.

Two hours in and loving it. I like how it is both chill and creepy. Great over all atmosphere and the gameplay loop really gels with me. Also having a lot of fun playing inventory Tetris to optimize the space in my cargo hold .

This looks so good!

I’ve been playing this all day. It’s so good.
It’s a lot like Sunless Sea, but with a focus on fishing and no combat. It’s also not a rogue-like, which is great. I absolutely love it so far and am completely addicted.
TheLAriver
I played the demo for about an hour and then deleted it. Just can’t get into the to-do list games. Feels like doing the same chore over and over again.
Also, frankly, it looks and feels like a mobile game. Seems to be a lot of what is coming out on the Switch from indie developers these days.
neilydan89
I loved the demo and I REALLY love the Deluxe full game so far. Sadly your demo save data doesn’t carry over, but even with having to start from square one, I’m so happy this game finally released today.

should i get this or the last spell???

Isn’t this game based off that one Tumblr post?
Super hype to see it made
LikeTwentyBurritos
I played the demo on Steam during a Next Fest a while back. The demo was really intriguing and fun. I’ll probably pick this up on Switch soon. If you’re even a little interested I highly recommend the demo. The game has a certain vibe that’s hard to really sell, but you’ll know it when you see it.

Glad to see a physical version!

Yikes, why is physical version $40 and every other platform is $25 (including ps5)?

Pre ordered this a few weeks ago. Looking forward to it.

The other day I thought the switch should have some kind of cool or unique fishing sim. Didn’t know Dredge was coming. Will try this for sure.
dr_van_nostren
Worth like $40? I was gonna buy this the other day while burning a GameStop gift card. Never heard of it, but I went with Kirby instead.
I like one player offline games for the most part so I can play as much or as little at whatever time of day I want.
TheFenceHimself
Already played quite a bit on pc yesterday. It is that good, as everyone says.
Kobayanator
I tried the demo first, a few days before it launched.
Within 5 minutes of the demo, i uninstalled it and prepurchased the full game.
It got me hooked so much, cant stop playing it. The game looks cute, but its spooky, as stated – Lovecraftian.
Got a few proper scares too.
Its a brilliant game.

The game is awesome, easy contender for indie of the year

Do you actually dredge anything or is it just fishing?

graphics have Out Of This World vibes

Played the demo, was totally hooked (haha). Excited to get the full game.
For anyone who’s already got it: is there any way to adjust the controls for driving the boat? They’re kinda wonky, but I think it’s supposed to be that way because it feels exactly the same as driving a real boat haha.
