I’ve been experiencing Switch gameplay for 6 years now, no Seattle needed lol

Pure speculation but that “and more” part leaves the door open for their second direct of the year to be a live thing. September does match up as the time we could probably be getting more news on what Nintendo is up to.

  3. Is this what they’re doing this year instead of E3?

  4. Altruism7

Probably coincides with next Nintendo direct as well (at least the September one)

Is this like a legit convention/festival, or just like a thing in a park or other public place that you just walk by? If it’s the former, that’s kinda awesome?

I swear that if they have a Splatoon concert.. I’ll cry being thousands of miles away 😭

I assume this is gonna be around the time of PAX West

Wonder if they might make any kind of announcements here?

Everyone bring your 3DS for Street Pass please

Think they are going to annouce another Switch or new console?

  11. Would be cool if they did a smash ultimate tournament there.

Maybe a good time to announce the so called Switch 2

Nintendo Switch U incoming, with launch games Mario Odyssey 2 and Tears of the Kingdom: Deluxe Edition. My uncle told me.

Based on the website this does not look like an event that will have announcements that a Nintendo Direct would have. There very well may be a Direct around this time. I wouldn’t take this as the event to announce the Switch 2 (nor would I expect a Nintendo Direct to do that)

The Splatoon concerts will be better than Metallica show

  16. Carcass1

This seems to be around the time of a Direct, right?

  17. I guess that means………there will finally be a Splatoon concert in America!!!!!!!!!!

  18. DonovanKreed

Nintendo says it’ll be an all ages event but you know that once the Splatoon concert happens it’s going to turn into a rave until sunrise.

The swag is gonna be unreal, I’m ready to empty my bank account.

I guess Americans can finally hear the Splatoon idols perform! Toobad I’m not American… :/

Kit and Krysta (formally of Nintendo Minute) have more insight about what to expect from this event since they’ve been to a Nintendo Live in the past.

What are the odds we get a new system announcement?
