Should I evolve them?



I really want a shadow tyranitar so should I evolve one of these or just wait for a better one?

    If you’re not in need of one right now, I’d wait until shadow Larvitar is out of the Rocket rotation. You’ll be kicking yourself in the butt if you evolve and then pull a 3*. In the meantime, you might want to wait for a Rocket Takeover Day to get rid of Frustration.

    There are two dominant Tyranitars, Dark and Rock. The Dark one uses moves that can be gotten with regular TMs, so that’s not an issue. The best Rock Ttars use Smackdown, which will require an Elite Charge TM.

    Also, there is the possibility of Mega Ttar in the future. I have a good 2* shadow saved for that… I’ll be purifying it (shadow’s can’t mega), and it’ll boost it to 3*, boost its level, and also discount the level up costs.

    You’re going to need all the candy you can get to level it up, but once you do it destroys everything.
