Pokemon Go

Should I purify or no?

I’m unsure. I’ve seen a lot of people say you shouldn’t purify if the stats are good but then some say the opposite?

It’s a case by case basis and ultimately up to the player and his goals.

Please Read This (https://www.reddit.com/r/pokemongo/comments/t52ef8/because_im_tired_of_seeing_it_all_the_time_here/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf) to better understand the mechanic

You can also see here (https://www.reddit.com/r/TheSilphRoad/comments/10b6c10/top_pve_pokemon_v11/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf ) and here (https://www.reddit.com/r/TheSilphRoad/comments/zzmmuc/most_useful_pok%C3%A9mon_in_pok%C3%A9mon_go_123022_update/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf ) to see how useful shadows are in game content

More specifics on pvpoke.com for PvP Pokémon and gamepress DPS*TDO sheet and Pokebattler/leekduck for raid Pokémon

In this case, you COULD purify (I’d rather transfer tbh) since Steelix is a PvP Pokémon and these IVs are too high for its best usage, it’s base stats and Cp is too low for master league (where high overall stats would matter) and it’s attack is too low for raids. When purified, you could use it as a mega to boost allies and get the mega bonuses (but it won’t be a hundo in this case)
