Sometimes it’s worth doing GBL for the encounters.



First shiny Snorlax – cheered at my desk while WFH. I just do GBL for stardust and rare candy, this is a bonus.

    Me too, I got a shiny Lapras the other day from GBL after saying to my friend “I really want a shiny Lapras today” lol

    I haven’t even been able to do a single battle since the last update. The game freezes on the screen where you select what league you want. It has also been giving me a white screen after every rocket battle. And the game also breaks fairly often when I open up the friends menu.

    I have tried redownloading, twice. Same thing.

    I was grinding GBL during the lugia raids and was able to get three encounters and one was shiny🤩. Definitely worth grinding in my opinion

    I’ve been playing since December 2022 and when they nerfed the remote raids my encounters basically suck. The best I got was a shiny licktung but everything else idc for. Prior to the nerf I got a total of 18 legendaries. Zekrom, Rayquaza, Tapu koko and lele, Lugia, ho-oh, latios, latias, regirock, thundurus. I didn’t get tornadus because I wasn’t at level 20 before he was out. Now it’s dumbass meditite, mariene, skarmory, sometimes Electabuzz and countless snorlex.

    Congrats! I’ve hatched so many munchlax and received soooo many snorlax from GBL but no shiny yet.

    Hundo Metang is the best thing I’ve gotten. My hundo Metagross is a beast

    I’ve yet to get a shiny or hundo from gbl this season and I’ve done between 500-700. I don’t remember

    Weird. I opened PoGO after seeing this and the first pokemon I encountered was shiny.
