    Was really enjoying it but by the mid point it got kinda slow and well, boring.

    I gotta go back and complete this game.

    Good. I haven’t played this before Switch, and my gosh this is a great game. At least, the main plots are. The side quests are kind of lame, but once I realized that and stuck to the main quest, I’m having a lot of fun.

    I’m in the minority on this game as I found it really mid and the story very disappointing compared to its reputation. But if you get it on sale it’s definitely fascinating and takes big swings in game structure, which I really appreciated. So overall I recommend it!

    I just couldn’t get into this game. Put a good 15 hours into and never seemed to find my groove.

    I love open world stuff as well, with interesting combat. Thought this would be right up my alley.

    Ah well, to each their own.

    I have it on both Switch and PS4. Beautiful game, both in visual style, lore, story and characters.

    If I have a PS4 and a Switch, do you think it matters which platform I purchase it on? Tough to beat the handheld convenience.

    Might play it again. I thought it was the most overrated game of last few years, but now that I’ve played and really enjoyed Replicant, who knows. I might actually like it second time around.

    Still think combat is mediocre though, worse than Replicant.

    Crazy how automata and a lil bit of booty sky rocketed the game.

    I still have the og Nier and bought it when it cake out saw it on the shelves and reading and looking at the cover it sold me and when the made up language came it with the songs bruh i was in love.

    I miss the times when covers and a lil bit of the bio/story on the back told you enough without spoiling you anything not even the start of the game.

    I had the same experience with Shadow of Colossus when renting games was still a thing not the same anymore with Covers.

    I never understood the hype. I saw the reviews and it left me uninterested. Although i keep hearing amazing things about it

    I started falling in love with this game but ran into a rare hard lock bug which ruined my experience. It’s the surprise sphere boss fight that happens in front of that base camp. The bug removed all the heals from my inventory for some reason and I entered the fight with practically no HP. I tried many times to beat the sphere but wasn’t even making a dent, and there was no way to load the game to a different point.

    I just bought it on sale the other day. No idea what it’s about and I’m purposely trying to just go in blind, hope it’s my kind of game.

    Completed all sidequests, took me about 60 hours. Was disappointed with the plot, it’s another take on existentialism. Game is overhyped, really.

    I’m kind of an anomaly because I’m still halfway through 2B’s story and… I already really like the game, actually? Everyone’s saying that it’s the worst part and that everything will start clicking after it but I’m actually having a lot of fun with the combat and the bits and pieces of story sprinkled throughout. Plus 2B and 9S are adorable.

    Apparently it’s gonna get better too? Can’t wait for that.

    I looooooove nier.

    I wish I could find another game like it. Another hack and slash type with a *good* story, not silly cheesy tropes that are ridden with Japanese games.

    One of the best video game experiences I will ever have. Getting every single ending was fun too. If they ever release this AGAIN on newer (current) gen consoles I’ll definitely buy it again.
