I bought Affordable Space Adventures because in the video it looked like a game that made great use of the Wii U’s two screens and non symmetric coop play. I have yet to actually sit down and play it but I’m looking forward to it.

I bought a few pokemon games from gen 1 and 2. And a few zelda titles I didn’t have.
I bought games when the closure was announced. Was a good Capcom and Atlus/Sega sale shortly after the announcement so I picked up what I was still missing.
Also went through the virtual console to pick up a bunch of GB games since a lot of those games may never pop back up again to be legally purchased anywhere.
I bought ~$250 worth of games lmao
I grabbed the majoras mask virtual console upgrade for my Wii U, Pokémon mystery dungeon explorers of sky virtual console, and the ace attorney trilogy
Pushmo, Crashmo, and Stretchmo were fantastic digital only 3DS puzzle games. They used both the touch screen and the 3D effect in useful and interesting ways. Now, except for with the help of pirates, they are gone forever.
Pokemon Crystal and I paid for a last-minute Pokemon Bank subscription because I had no faith that they would allow people to download the Poke Transporter after the eShop closed. Happy for everyone that I was wrong on that
I got Metroid prime Trilogy on the Wii U VC.
I snagged a few Pokémon games on the eshop before it closed. Mostly gen 2 though.
Fire Emblem: Fates DLC(all except the additional campaign routes, which I had already bought months earlier)
Metroid Prime: Federation Force
Zelda: BotW(physically, but I bought the DLC and had to download the updates as well before it was too late).
3DS Menu Theme(Fire Emblem: Fates one that played the music box theme iirc).
Outside the eShop, I got Kirby’s Epic Yarn(Wii) and Super Mario 64 DS physically to avoid having to further rearrange my Wii U storage without having to get a bigger hard drive.
I did not. I hadn’t even played the 3DS in years, but then I got addicted to playing Dr Mario Express again for a couple days.
I bought way too many games 😅 many that are eshop only but also some that the physical copies are incredibly expensive like the Yokai Watch games. I got 30 3DS games and 10 Wii U games.
I bought the other routes for FE Fates as I never got around to them.
But that’s it. I ended up homebrewing my 3DS rather than blowing my budget for games I might play
I prefer to sail the seven seas (my 3ds broke about a year ago)
I actually went out to get a physical copy of Link between Worlds, and FE Echoes. Just in case those’d go up in price after the eshop closes, plus I wanted to have those physical anyway.
