    I was not expecting the Smash Bros KO system, complete with the crouch cancel technique, to show up in the early plans for Kirby.

    I always get a kick out of seeing what kind of tricks were used back then to save space and make a game with such limited tools/resources. Like, I never would have thought about how they chose an M for the tomato because it was symmetrical and so they only actually had to make half a sprite.

    So did he program how each individual enemy moves in each stage?

    Like no universal movement but each individual movement was programmed?

    It’s rare to see him talk about any other characters besides Kirby. Meta Knight in particular here.
