This week there are 2 leagues. Great League and Master League Premier. Master League Premier is a level 50 XL league but no legendary pokemon allowed. Time for the best master league premier teams.
In today’s video, I use an old team of dragonite, excadrill, and metagross. This is such a dominant team for the Master League Premier. Draw out gyarados with excadrill and save shields for metagross and you will dominate.

the team i've been running has been doing great, i'm up ~200 mmr, but this team you're running is basically a lose condition for me haha
I run this team with an ursaluna instead of excadrill cause i didn‘t get a hundo. Works great too for me

Dan I have a hundo avalugg. I’ve been getting rps’d ny this cup today looked at the sims and avalugg beats almost every meta pick. Barely run into any metagross, should I power it up? Dust I don’t mind spending bc will be going hard during comm day to build it back up

During your climb when do you decide to change team? I've been sticking to one team all week and just swapping leads and seems like I'm climbing albeit very slowly

Yeah this team is a classic, your play by play is great for it. I am in ottawa as well, nice to see a good battler here, keep up the great content! I work from home now and I do miss those lunch walks to raid / catch.

I was RPSed with Toge, Waterfall Gary and Shadow Champ. I think my mistake was not shielding Aqua Tail on my Excadrill because I may have been able to trade shields and have a chance at the end.
I maxed a 98 Exca a month ago and I just found the Hundo the other day >.> I can max it too but feels bad.
Been using this same team as my first ML team and it’s reliable.
What is this BS that some players pull that when they're down to their last Pokemon they can stall the clock and not come in right away? That's not supposed to happen. If they're down to the last one, they're supposed to come in INSTANTLY.
I've had someone do this crap to me, and it really pisses me off when I see it. Someone using an exploit because they're a freakin' little coward and know they've been beaten.

I hit legend last season in master premier classic, I'm struggling right in master premier. The extra bulk makes a difference between level 40 and 50. Snorlax is a mon I'm struggling to battle, might have to go with my perfect shadow 50 Machamp tomorrow
And that is why the unknown XL Vaporeon exists. Takes care of the CP750 higher Metagross no problem.
Tried this team yesterday and today (unrelated to this video) and dropped from 2940 to 2670 ELO. Literally hard countered every match. Algorithm didn't like that I was going to hit legend in 300 battles lol.
Wish I had enough XL to build an Excadrill. During the latest event I only managed to get 20 XL for it (rural player)
Am i able to replace metagross with gholdengo?

Would Snorlax work instead of Excadrill? I know it's not a steel type but it's weak against counter too and can bait out a fighter. Jw cause I don't have an Excadrill builtn, but I have a Snorlax built already
I've been playing for just under 1 month and just hit 2k on my account.
Now I'm not going to have a single league I'll be able to compete in for over 2 months…
I really wish they'd think before limiting Great League because a lot of us dont even have enough pokemon to compete in a higher league.
Great League should be always open and available to newer players 🙁

Normaly I get legend in premier master but I clip very slowly because no one runs double steel…
About the cup.
Diggersby and dunsparce both have ground/Rock moves to kill fire and be neutral Vs grass.
You can lead it with venu to have fighters gone.
Venu lead. Dunsparce safe. Diggers closer. Add hyperbeam earthquake? Perhaps quick attack

11:09 What in the world is double resistance? I've been playing GBL since pre season but I never understood the concept of resistance let alone double resistance! All I understand is that if A is super effective on B, then A resists B. Like since fairy is super effective on fighting then fairy resists fighting. How in the world ghost resist fighting when ghost isn't super effective on fighting and similarly, how does Normal resist ghost when Normal isn't super effective on ghost or anything for that matter?
He not lying ! It took me about 50+ tasks to get that hundo. Love the team . I’m running Db Gyar/ Excadrill/ Dragonite . Does pretty well . There’s times I win with 1HP with Excadrill and I believe it’s the power of being a hundo
