The thing that made Pokemon GO so profitable is that they released multiple ways to play the game in a way it wasn't intended to be played. Remote raiding was the product that did that.
Personally, I have NOT did a single raid since the nerf and I haven't even gotten a raid from others on my friends list. Remote raids was the only way I could really take down bosses because I can't drive yet 🤷

If the totals are accurate it’s hard to celebrate a victory over this because they still raked in $43 million dollars according to the numbers. That’s a lot of reasons for them to not give a shit.
I remember when i was saying Niantic were greedy and lazy over 3 years ago when rhey released shiny Happiny that January event. People said i was crazy, niantic isnt that bad. And over time yhey keep getting worse and worse.
Im surprised its taken this long for people to actually see and boycott the shadiness. Remember just 5 years ago when Pokemon games were just always amazing? Now we get games with less than before, but cost more, paywalls, and just straight up avoidance from every pokemon dev.
I mean it makes sense. Why change, improve, update, or add when the bare minimum is making record profits?
augmented reality is the stepping stone to virtual reality and that's their only goal… that's why every stop spin gives you a scan stop challenge instead of a catch challenge…. it's like Tesla being worth so much but they lose money on their cars…. data is the new economy…

On the plus side, with the money I have saved by not remote raiding, I’ve bought a new gaming chair, desk, mouse, keyboard and building my PC 😅

Niantic has never made a good game other than pogo. They need to realise this and stop wasting resources on BS.

Sorry I agree the game should be outside however, giving us shit leg and just saying whatever .. we should have extended rewards for getting out, I mean they don’t have to but most can’t just get out there is no incentive, if you want us outside great then give us something or give new leg, simple ..
I’m all for going out but no one wants a for instance a Gencect that everyone already has, yer it’s now shiny but no one is spending money for it .. I’ll always play but won’t spend money now on raid passes I have loads , but not a chance I’ll spend £5 on 3 remote passes that’s just nuts ..
But looking forward to go fest London but very disappointed they are saying I can only play for half a day and charging £27 then putting extras on that no one wants .. I am surprised no one is complains about this, still want to do it see what happens but if it’s bad then no one will go again .. spoiling things not really sure why ..
I’d say sack all the people making bad decisions get the content creators in and they make a fortune for free lol

You're right about it being about data. I remember when my Galaxy S7 would randomly make audible shutter/camera sounds while playing the game. I'm not talking about artificial sounds from the speaker, either. Like actual mechanical clicking sounds. I sent in a report about it and then all of a sudden a few weeks later it stopped and never happened again on my phone while playing.
They been siphoning data. Even now, I just went into my android phone's apps options, scrolled down to pogo and looked, and just short of 2hrs ago it says location data was accessed by pogo. And I haven't even opened the game in weeks.
I left pogo for the TCG. I think maybe they are pushing people to the cardboard TCG? When I was playing pogo for a few years and got to lvl 40, and I spent maybe $20. Once I got into the collecting shiny cardboard, I’ve spent well over $10,000 on modern and vintage Pokémon cards, and have started grading as well. I do have to say I’ve found cardboard collecting a more fun hobby and it’s addicting as heck once you pull an alt art or shiny charizard. They released the Pokémon Go cardboard set but I think it didn’t pull people from PoGo.
I actually removed pogo from my phone. I hope they see that more people are not even logging on anymore.

I don't understand why we haven't boycotted the game for a month to show Niantic who's in charge here. Are we just gonna let them push us around all the time? I remember when Korea stopped playing epic seven for (i think) one week and smilegate lost million's, enough to make them pull their head out of their ass. At this point the majority of the POGO community has super cool legendaries, shinies, alolans etc. I think we could a month without spending more than 20 bucks. Imagine if only 10% to 30% of the POGO community participated in GoFest, I think they'd reconsider listening to us. All I know is that they are ruining a game based on story lines and characters that they didn't even create. If I was Satoshi Tajiri, I'd shove my foot so far up their ass they'd need 50 max potions to recover. And they are also ruining it for me and my son. He's 8 and in love with this game. It literally breaks my heart to tell him all the negative actions being taken by Niantic. Not to mention his account was reset from lv26 to lv1 and can't contact Niantic because they could care less and here i am still playing at lv34. Absolutely breaks my heart. I hope there's an outbreak of monkey pox in all your labs.
