Interesting point brought up about how it was fun to come up with a bunch of new surprises and things to add to the world that were difficult to implement because the original world wasn’t designed with the concept of something like flying islands or the ceiling warp. Didn’t really think about the unique challenges of sticking to the same world and geometry and putting stuff on top of it years later

They admit they’ve been wanting to have seamless diving from the sky to the surface since SS. Also interesting that “sound effects are generated by a completely new system” and the example they give is being able to distinguish the distance of a bird call more accurately

I love these developer interviews.
It’s interesting to know the have had the idea of seamless jump from sky to land since SS. Also can’t wait to see (hear) how better is the sound since they are using different technology from BOTW.

should i stop playing this game bc all the developers are male and i don’t see any female developers on board?

This is the first I have heard about the Character Profile Feature. Sounds interesting, and it will be fun to read up on the characters we already know.
The bits about changing things and keeping things the same, the struggle of deja vu, and the “mundanity” is a little vague. Would’ve liked a few examples of this.

Part II actually places BOTW and TOTK in the timeline officially.
>This applies to the story too, which connects to Hyrule’s past. It also talks about a major struggle called “The Imprisoning War,” which until now was considered a myth even in Hyrule.
The Imprisoning War is specific to the “Link Fails” timeline.
