There’s so many Pokémon games that I just can’t get into this series. My friends says that these games are more addictive than meth.

I didn’t end up buying them. GameStop had a sale where I thought about it, checked on a performance patch and found out that to alleviate performance they just emptied the game world. I love Pokemon, but I’ll go back to replaying an older version for now.

Not gonna lie I got really frustrated playing Violet because of the slowdowns and bugs and choppiness, but I got really frustrated because I was having lots and lots of fun, and the slowdowns were bringing the experience down.
This is a great, if long-winded review that I pretty much agree wholeheartedly with.

Ive had a lot of fun with this game. I can see the performance issues, but I’m not bothered by them. I love the music and the new pokemon more than any Pokemon game Ive played before. Also, my kids don’t even notice any performance issues. And let’s be honest, kids are the target audience

My problems with the game were:
1. The performance and bugs
2. I loved spending time in the towns in previous games but as the towns were horrible in terms of performance I just did the gyms and went away
3. Lack of interiors in the shops and homes
4. No personality in terms of design for the gyms. I loved how different the gyms were in their aesthetics in the previous games.
Apart from this I had fun doing what was their in the game. I just hope they make a more well rounded game next time.

Arlo’s greatest idea was the puppet. If he looked like a normal youtuber he’d be trashed forever for having the worst takes 99% of the time but no one wants to get mad at a blu puppet.

Ran like shit but it was the most fun I’ve had playing a Pokémon game in a very long time. There’s def fun to be had in my opinion, but hard to ignore the technical issues
