Found it weird that the Playstation one got so much traction and a lot of people hating on Xbox when Xbox did the same thing but no goodwill, so I figured I’d post this one, too.

  2. Xbox and Sony can’t give a single fuck about a game that isn’t released on their console besides loss revenue. Brands in social media wear a character to cater a certain group with a certain image. 2023 and mfs think big coorps give a fuck about you

  3. I love to see different companies acknowledging what their competitors did great. It’s actually the only way to improve as a whole.

i predict this’ll be another thread filled with bad takes.

not only is the PS one heavily upvoted, but the top comments there dig right into your classic anti-rhetoric.

It’s good to see companies taking the high road.

To the point, Microsoft wishes that they had a game release that is this anticipated. I was so hyped for Halo and was crushed.

love the fact im playing a game on hardware that’s about xbox 360 hardware levels on a 7 year old tablet gaming device and it blows everything ive played at 4k and above on my rtx 4090 out of the water.

I’m guessing Sony and Microsoft’s social media admins are looking for some easy targets to hit with these posts…

Still, at least they’re saying something positive

Love that everyone can celebrate TotK and honestly enjoy the overall experience. This is what the gaming community should be like.

No spoilers here – For the first like 6 hours of gameplay, the games is entirely fresh. It doesn’t feel like botw 2.0

The only ones who look pathetic during this time are Kotaku

Poor Phil, always being the nice guy, never knowing how to leverage all the studios he owns.

Banjo-Kazooie 3, Conker 2, more Killer Instinct, make Doom, Fallout, Elder Scrolls and Indiana Jones actual exclusives to Xbox since you bought Bethesda.

There, it’s a really obvious competitive start.

So now xbox is congratulating nintendo same as playstation its only the fan boys that are salty lol. Can’t wait to play this picking up my copy today.

The illusion of solidarity to your competition is good for business.

I forgot why I hated console subreddits until I read the comments here.

  15. Marketing or not, I’d rather seeing positive posts rather than bitter ones. Some game devs were really sour with Elden Rings’ success, albeit its individuals rather than studios.

It’s nice to see Sony and Microsoft congratulating Nintendo. And for good reason. You don’t get to experience this kind of thing often.

I cant say the same with redfall…

  18. As someone who (currently) only owns an Xbox, enjoy y’all! I have fond memories of beating Ocarina of Time and Majora’s Mask too many times as a kid.

Tempted to buy a Switch for this game.

  19. HerculeMuscles

Company congratulating another company. How interesting.

    REJECT CONSOLE WARS

    EMBRACE CONSOLE UNITY

  21. Thats cool of them to write. Let’s go Series x give me some games so I can dust off my Series x I’m confident they will come out with something good.

Until that time I will be enjoying Tears of the Kingdom!
