Nintendo knew people would grind rail everything. They just made it easier.

The Legend of Tony Hawk: Tears of the skaters

The best open zonai Sonic I’ve ever seen.

You can grind rails without a cart on the shield.

I thought they’d turn it into Banjo Kazooie Nuts and Bolts.

If it’s a surface, you can grind rail

I hope we get a spinoff game that is basically THPS but in the Zelda universe.
RamoneMisfit
Just add some more rails and we could have Zelda Jet Set Radio
Lunar_Lunacy_Stuff
So do the mine carts break eventually? Or do they have infinite health when used like this?

Soon people will find a way to skate on chains of Koroks. And the two sides of the fandom will truly be united into one.
Progressive_Caveman
I thought it was being turned into a warcrime simulator with all the things I’ve seen have been done to Koroks.

This is probably the first IGN article that interested me

FYI the minecart isn’t necessary to grind rails. It’s only a requirement for skating on ground better. Not sure if it speeds up the grind rail yet though

This ultrahand thing is so complex for me… 👴

IGN is really behind with these stories. Skating was day 2. The community has moved on to crucifying koroks

I give it less than one more week before someone builds a working calculator out of materials, followed by an entire coding language using rocks and branches attached to fans.

I think at some point I’m going to just try a day of playing this where I’m not allowed to walk on the ground–I have to be making or using a vehicle at all times.

I’d say it is a 50/50 of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater, and War crime/Crimes against humanity simulator.
So many Korok crucifixions.

The title is quite an overstatement, at least watching the clip they are referring to.
Like youd also find rails like this in early Ratchet&Clank games, yet nobody would have ever said that this is like THPS.
That being said, it still sounds quite cool
