The best Ottawa Pokemon Go Youtuber….is Poke Daxi but I am here too. This channel is where you come if you want ideas for:
Great League Teams
Ultra League Teams
Master League Teams

Pokemon Go announced their season 10: Rising Heroes. This coincides with the new season of GO Battle League. There are no move updates of consequence. Learn how to win go battle league and hit legend with this channel.

This week is ultra league and sunshine cup. Sunshine Cup is a 1500CP (Great League) with normal, fire, grass, and ground typings.

Thanks HomesliceHenry for the decidueye and tropius combo, grass appeared everywhere. Thanks to vigoroth everywhere, donphan also showed up. SO let’s bring back the classic trevenant to deal with them. Shadow Swampert and Noctowl still strong.

  1. I have a super strong team that carries me from 2200-2560 yesterday in the Sunshine cup.

Munchlax lead with Tackle/Body Slam/Bulldoze, Pidgeot, and Shadow Swampert. You leave munchlax in to die, win switch, or get shield advantage versus basically anything – munchlax beats a large swathe of the meta, and having double shields for pert in the end game is a must.

Munchlax also smokes magcargo – so you can save shields for Pidgeot versus the Mag/Victrebell/Decidueye team

  2. I feel your pain. I dropped to the upper 2500s right before go battle day. Managed to climb back up to the mid 2800s by the end of Go battle day. Been running Trev lead. Really fun watching the vigs have to swap out.

  3. You can try my scrafty tentacruel jellicent team to get to legend if you want… i was at veteran when i started using it and hit legend yesterday

  4. Hey, you mentioned pokedaxi making a second channel for other content. Have you thought about the same? When pogo views completely plummets, will you contiune making content or will you just focus on your main career?

  5. probably would go slugma, chinchou, ducklett as an element cup team: in a 2shield scenario, slugma beats ducklett, is even vs chincou and beats the grass that would otherwise counter chinchou. so you'd have two answers to ducklett, 1 for grass and the rest should be ok. cant imagine youd loose much with this team (sadly… i dont have a <500cp slugma xD)

  6. Element cup, dont forget about those trainers that had annoying salandit, which was on more teams than anticipated

  7. I think slowpoke is a bait dependent matchup on ducklet as well. Slowpoke was my MVP of element cup last time

  8. I dont think they can do a big move update for next season because the WCh is coming soon and it would be really strange to qualify to the champs with 1 meta and then play the champs with a different one.
I was not playing last year and as far as I understand they did the same thing last year as well, the 2 seasons before the WCh the updates were minimal to not influence it that much.
Then in the autumn/winter seasons they can shake things up more.

PS: Love ur vids, keep them coming! Also as a relatively new player, I do not mind repeat vids of same teams (I do not know the matchups that well and I am sure I am not the only one) which you said you want to avoid.

  9. I played with aolan sandslash vs walrein was able to tank icicle spear and finish game with ice punch was really surprised

  10. Tentacruel is one of my favorites in elemental cup and would probably work great on your team

  11. Good luck getting to Legend! I managed to hit Legend on Go Battle Day using Swampert, Wing Attack Pidgeot, and shadow Charizard. I didn’t try Gust, but I feel like it would have been worse because it charges energy SO SLOW. The extra damage from Gust might have been nice, but I wanted to be able to debuff opponents more quickly, or get to Brave Bird faster when shields are down. Pidgeot was usually my closer with Zard as the safe swap. Cresselia, and to some extra Giratina, were the main match-ups where I feel like Gust might have helped. But otherwise, it was pretty common for me to debuff something like a Jellicent, build up to almost 100 energy, and throw a Brave Bird, being almost ready to throw another charge move against whatever else came in.

  12. I think i used cottonee to counter ducklett. My (obviously less experienced than you) experience is that the way to get around these dumb meta is to use a non recommended move set. So lick may be more useful because it's unexpected
