I didn’t even realize this was coming out. Looks fun!

This looks fun and definitely taps into my nostalgia of playing Lego Racers 2 on ps2 as a kid. I wonder if the microtransactions damper the experience or not.

Seems great, but with AAA pricing it will go the “wait for a sale” list.

I got the super edition because I love lego games and honestly, it’s not bad. It runs well on Switch and it’s a decently fun game to play.
The MTX are looking to be annoying and earning in game cash is extremely slow, but the season passes are interesting because they’re going the Master Chief Collection route, once you buy a pass you own it and it never expires. You can work it at your own pace and go back and forth between any passes you own. I really want to see more games offer that going forward.

Looks fun but one thing that has me on the fence is that its not one big open world with a bunch of different themese that connect together. Instead its like 4 smaller open maps you travel between that each have their own theme. So if you want a theme you have to leave the map youre in and go to the new one, you cant just drive around from one part of the map to another part of the map.

it’s getting mixed reviews on steam because it’s crazily micro transaction driven

If it’s 70 dollars at launch ima wait for it hit 20 next year.

I will buy it when it goes under 20 euro.

how does the game run on the switch? it seems really fun

I also rated it down because of how grindy it is to get extra cars. Even if you bought the 120 version of the game you basically get jack shit for it.
Fun game, awful business practices, They could have had a smash hit but someone decided to ask the question “How can we print more money for years”
How about you just release a good game, simple and maybe a dlc pack later.
