Welcome to last Tuesday.

Sadly the common/main markets PoGo players don’t care much about all those things, they are used to mobile marketing and ” progressive spending”

Didn’t know Slowpokes were spawning rn

Which is why we need to get even louder and get more in their faces
On Twitter, Niantic has the following known (to me, anyway) public facing people or profiles:
John Hanke, CEO of Niantic: @johnhanke
Michael Steranka, Game Director and the person who gave this quote: @michaelsteranka
Niantic: @nianticlabs
Pokémon go, the official pogo account: @pokemongoapp
Pokémon Go Support: @nianticsupport
Feel free to tag any or all of them with each piece of feedback you’ve got. Do it often and repeatedly, to really make sure they understand that ignoring you isn’t an option.

And I’ve no plans to stop transferring my shinies to Pokémon Home, completing the Jirachi Research then quitting after Go Fest.

I get that I was on the verifying stops crew and in 2020 when my lady who passed away who was a day 1 player died I requested a stop at her plaque in a park that has alot of stops already was denied so took 6 months off and never came back the same
OtherRiley
Already quit the game so I don’t really care. I didn’t even raid that much just sick to death of their “improvements”.
InfiniteGrant
Would be a shame if people…. Idk… picketed their offices.
Digital_Pharmacist
I’m serious when I’m asking this…why keep playing and using the game if they don’t respect you ? Wouldn’t not playing it and spending money send a message ?
Zazzylike02
Niantic has recently tempted me to play again, apparently they are bringing back the three shinies I have been trying to get for 3 years
Majik518
So in addition to re-posting the article you also nearly word for word copied my top comment from the original post. Good job, farm that karma.
Plankisalive
At this point just let the game die and move you’re Pokémon to Pokémon Home. That’s what I’m planning to do. Nintendo really had been making a lot of mistakes lately and the only way change happens is when they realize they’re losing money.
bilowik
Can someone explain to me aside from the 5 remote raid pass limit what the other complaints are? The article doesn’t mention them.
UndercoverFusion88
Yall are still playing and pretending you care? Just delete the fucking game and stop playing until they actually do something
gayweedlord
why would a niantic executive bother acknowledging a community protest group when he could simply go bathe in a tub of gold and pleasure himself to a double titty twister session while he plots the next store item

Niantic makes money off your data. If you can’t get off your butt, they don’t care. The disabled players are a minority of the whole player base. They never intended to keep the changes made when the pandemic hit. They make more money on your data. Most people probably catch 1 and spin a stop and they are done for the day.
You can complain all you want and make change petitions. They are gonna run the game they want. No point in crying and announcing to the world that your done playing Pokemon Go. Most people left a few months after launch.

And I don’t have any plans of addressing my closed wallet anytime soon

So, they:
1. Increased pokestop/gym interaction distance from 25 to 50 meters. Then lowered it. Then increased it again.
2. Decreased the pokecoins awarded per day from 100 to 50.
3. Got rid of the walking requirement to “unlock” PvP battle sets.
4. Decreased the maximum allowed remote raids per day.
5. Increased the cost of remote raid passes by 75%.
Am I forgetting anything?

Good to know!
Same here, no plans on spending money, opening the game or give back tracking location permissions to Pokémon go either.
Nice that we are on the same page!
Pitiful_Animal_9798
If you guys quit the game, then why do you keep complaining?

Seems they are gonna be fine without the hearuspeeps

Not to mention the ill-conceived justifications.
– I remote raid more than 99% of players
– my subjective experience was it wasn’t fun to raid that much
– therefore the only solution is to ensure people can’t do more than 5 remote raids a day (and it should be more expensive for some reason)
Like there weren’t other solutions. Maybe limit only legendary raids based on some 90th percentile number instead of “5”.
If you are adding a hard limit, maybe don’t double the price and maybe don’t make every new feature exclude remote passes. It’s redundant/overkill if the former already fixes the alleged “problem”.
Heck, (not that I like this) they could have limited remote invites to something more than a 0 friendship level. It would have killed remote raid apps just as much, but at least my local raid community wouldn’t have had half its members quit the game.
How can anyone claim this addresses legendary raids being too common or not “legendary” enough while still regularly featuring events on a weekly basis that spam dozens of them to communities?
Niantic, you can’t blow us away with new features if we can’t access them because our local communities have all been dismantled by your crass attituded ignoring the very clear feedback you got from your customers.
Necromia
We don’t care because yall keep playing anyways 🤣 – Niantic.
I’m glad I only checked up on it again since launch for about a month. It was fun, but the things they’re doing made me uninstall quick.
Sen-oh
Whenever I see anyone complaining about the state of the game from the last like year or so, it’s like: oh you still have the game downloaded? Well there’s your problem. They already hear you. You’re telling them they can do whatever they want and you stupid mfs will play their game anyway. Can’t relate 🤷🏻♀️
Cultural_Geologist_3
Well, I’m done with this game. It’s been real. ✌️
Coolpokemon962
he mentioned the limit, i think that the limit on remote raids is fine (just make it a bit higher than 5) BUT shouldn’t have raised the prices, nor made new raid categories non-remoteable
juv1000
We’ve known something like this was going to be implemented for three fucking years. Everybody needs to stop being a baby about it and get your lazy ass up and get out and play if you’re in a rural area. It’s been like that before they implemented all this stuff so do what yall use to do this is a walking game not a sit on your lazy ass and do raids from your couch game lol. Niantic is doing what the game was made for. Its pointless to even have remote raiding in a Niantic game it ruins the whole aspect of what Pokemon go actually is. Its a very good and smart move to make Mewtwo raids in person only.
17IsLucky
I’ve stopped playing over all the bullshit but I’m still hanging around here in hopes major changes are made. Looks to me like posting on this sub has gone back to normal — the outrage has died down just as Niantic predicted, which is why they’re not addressing anything. Where did the community’s unity go? Where did our resolve go? People let it die down and went back to playing and celebrating the game and abandoned everyone most harshly affected by the changes.
It’s really sad to see, but I’m not surprised. And I’m not blaming anyone either. Collective action is extremely difficult. But to everyone just guilelessly posting about best and worst shinies, and making stuff in celebration of “community day” (community hours), I just want you to look in the mirror and think about it for a minute.
HyldHyld
Speak with your money.

I’m starting to believe this is all because Niantic is feeling incredibly guilty about taking so much money
