everything to do with pokemon the last 5 years has been super borked so im not surprised

  2. Dukemon102

    As Pokémon Go’s events are.

    And Pokémon Home’s Update announcement.

    And Pokémon Unite’s balance.

  3. Just like that pokemon home announcement everything is borked when you have neither the time nor the talent to develop stuffs

The franchise as a whole is in a really frustrating place right now. The people involved have lost sight of what made/makes these games so good because the IP is so profitable. There is very little quality control, and clearly little interest in crafting something polished.

Genuinely hope that this changes, because I, like many others, have played the games since Gen 1 on GB. But I’ve been playing less of Go lately, and don’t intend to get Scarlet/Violet unless the performance issues are addressed.

This game is such a joke. Should’ve quit while they were ahead with Arceus. I’m honestly embarrassed to have bought S/V.

Nintendo came forward and made an apology about how they were embarrassed of Scarlet and Violet. The team came forward and said they would address the issues. The game is still fucked.

I beat the game, got my shiny charm, and never looked back. Do better GameFreak

You know what weren’t borked? NEW Pokémon Snap and Pokémon Legends Arceus. At this point, I just try to focus on those great games and ignore the farce that is the rest.

Guys I’m almost 30… I need someone to tell me what borked means

  9. NuxFuriosa

This game needed a delay. I would hope that they’ll learn a lesson from this, but with those sales numbers…

  10. This makes me legit miss Dynamax raids. They were slow has hell, but at least they **worked**.

It’s seriously embarrassing. Compare this with TotK that essentially didn’t have any bugs. You’d expect a game of that scale to have bugs, but no, aside from duping, and the thing that lets you smuggle the master sword out of the intro sequence, there’s been virtually nothing. Ultrahand and Ascend just work.

  12. So this game is still janky? Glad it is still wrapped up

  13. DrMobius0

More of the same. We’re 6 months in now, and Gamefreak can’t get their shit together. There’s a lot to answer for regarding the decisions made on this game, and someone, probably several people high up need to be fired.

Pokemon in general is just borked. I have gone from a loving excitement to contempt for this franchise. It saddens me to say that but until I see some significant change so that the series represents the best the industry can offer, which is should with the money it draws in, I won’t be buying in to it anymore. You can’t use the Switch as an excuse, look at what Nintendo EAD did with Zelda. I just do not have faith in GameFreak, sorry thays harsh but they just keep fumbling.

“if you ignore all the bugs and issues, it’s a good game.”

i’m curious after how many times this stuff keeps happening that people stop saying this because the bugs and issues CAN’T BE IGNORED.

  16. ehsteve23

Every raid is super borked. They’re hard to connect to, laggy, slow, glitchy.
I only ever do raids to get exclusives or hard to find pokemon, i dont know why people would do them for fun

  17. Another_Road

And this is one of the many reasons why I’m not participating in generation 9.

    Legends Arceus was fun though.

  18. IDM_Recursion

Still haven’t finished this game. At 20 hrs played. The game looks hideous, both in art style and performance wise. It sucks not being excited about Pokemon anymore.

  19. PhenomUprising

Borked in this context means? Never saw that word applied to video games.
