Audio Bug Fixes:
* Fixed an issue where the sound would play at an extremely high volume in certain conditions.
Additional Fixes:
* Fixed an issue in the main quest, “Camera Work in the Depths”, where players could not progress beyond a certain point. Downloading the update will allow players to proceed past that point.
* Several issues have been addressed to improve the gameplay experience.
Duplication glitches no longer work unless im doing something wrong somehow.
Looks like the glitch with shield jumping is patched. Tried a few times.

Seems like duplication glitch was fixed so take your time to duplicate everything you need considering how easy is to use this trick
Just bought the game yesterday. Absolutely loving it. My 2 year old daughter and I are having a blast flying the wing glider around.
I’m nervous to continue because I’m worried that I won’t have access to this area and I’ve missed chests with clothes etc. should I do more exploring before I proceed?

Damn, I’ve been playing vanilla this whole time. Reading through the comments is like reading the advanced users guide.
Nintendo makes their games run so good from the getgo that the top comments from a patch post are people complaining about fixing their favorite glitches.
Glad I turned off auto update yall are not taking my large charges away…

I JUST turned off automatic updates. Does that still mean I’ll get the update installed the moment I restart the game?
Well, not even 24 hours after launch of this game, I had to send in my Switch for repair because of my battery in it started swelling. Seen all these glitches just explode the last week as I wait for it to be fixed and sent back to me, and just as fast as they’re found, they’re fixed.
I tried warning people. Expect the next possible dupe glitch, if even found, to be patched just as fast, or patched before someone finds it. Now, if I want to take advantage of this, if the game hasn’t updated somehow during the repair, I’ll have to shut off my WiFi at the house, and turn off auto updates now.
Edit: I should add/state just in case there was confusion lol: By turning off my WiFi, I mean temporarily until I change my Switch settings.
As a joke statement: I could go full tinfoil hat, and completely disconnect from the web entirely in the house every time I booted up TotK lol. Nintendo ninjas out to get me for thinking about duping.
So 1.1.1 still can do the glitch? I haven’t take. The game out or turned off the system in a long while. My version still says 1.1.1. I was gonna try duping things this weekend.
I will continue to enjoy 1.1.1 and my 6 million diamonds

Im not updating. Just found out about the dupe item glitches and it makes the end game 100% more fun. You can’t take it away from me hahaha!

I turned off the auto update feature in the system settings. Should I be worried that Nintendo will officially force and update or force me to manually update. Can I close out the game to play something else and come back to TOTK without being forced to update?

To be fair, duplication glitch broke the game for me with how I could just make endless bomb + arrows. Glad I have the temptation removed from me.
I just refused the update and the glitch still works fine for me.
what if you don’t update ?
I knew to do it as much as possible, I think for the adults the upgrade tree is far to steep. I work 50 hours and it wasn’t hurting anyone and still allowing me to enjoy the game to its fullest with allowing me to have a life outside the game. Pretty sad about this not gonna lie
There’s no online in this game, I’m just turning off auto-updates until DLC comes out.

Ugh, had auto update on but I was playing the game. Saw the downloaded update icon. I Just turned off auto update, will I be able to reopen the app down the road without it automatically installing?

Typically I’m excited for new updates for video games based on how many are broken on release. I turned off Auto Updates on my Switch because I’m enjoying the glitches in Tears of the Kingdom and the game already runs pretty well. Really goes to show what developers could achieve if they released games when they’re actually ready.
