You know as much as people shit on Go at least the gym ovehaul was great in my opinion. I hated having to bubble strat just to be able to get a pokemon in a gym.

I was looking through some old screenshots recently and found some of the AR gym battling. They removed that feature so soon and never re-implemented it. It’s bizarre for a company that prides itself on AR tech innovation.

Remember when gyms were allowed to have multiples of the same pokemon? I remember. Trying to take down a gym full of Blisseys sucked.

The eevee stage of the game , everyone’s best mom was multiple of the 3 eevee evolutions.

I miss that gym battle system a bit. Not so much the tier system that went with it which determined the number of pokemon. But having to actually battle to attack/defend instead of just throwing a stupid berry that’s possible to use remotely.
