I am genuinely curious. Has Aspyr made ANY good ports on the Switch at this point?
I only played Republic Commando on Switch and that port was terrible.
That’s a real bummer. They just gave a good reason not to buy it on Switch.
The 1st KOTOR on the switch is amazing and a great port.
Very glad I held off buying KOTOR2 until the DLC came out (which of course it now never will).
Hopefully you guys see now why Sony pulled them off the Kotor remake lol
So if I bought the game physically through Limited Run games will they send me a key to one of those games?
*update 1 – I made a request with screenshots of my order information from Limited Run Games. Hopefully it works and I get a code for Episode 1 Racer on Switch.
*update 2 – I received an automated email saying that my request was received and that an agent will respond to it as soon as possible and that they are online Monday – Friday. So in other words they made this announcement Friday night knowing that no one would will get a response until Monday at the earliest.
Why how much work does it take to add an existing mod to a game?

For anyone that *did* buy this hoping for the content I strongly suggest against using your complimentary key for Republic Commando on Switch. Really shitty port but a good game you can play elsewhere better. Haven’t tried any of the other Aspyr ports
From what I followed on this, the rumor mill was that there some legal problem they were in about publishing the mod. It wasn’t a technical issue which delayed it.
So is it possible to get the mod on the SD card where the KotoR 2 files are and make it work that way? Does the Switch need to be modded to make that happen?

Saw this coming. Well, at least now I can indulge my curiosity about Force Unleashed.
Terrible. Absolutely terrible. Literally EVERYONE saw this coming a mile off because of COURSE you can’t add a free, massive mod made by lots of creators across the world to a console game. And yet Aspyr advertised KOTOR 2 off the back of this mod, which was the main reason to buy it. I’m glad I held off, I really wanted to play KOTOR 2 with the mod on Switch.
After this and the complete over-promise of the KOTOR remake, Aspyr needs to have a big rethink over what it announces before it announces it. I’m still angry at them over the terrible The Force Unleashed 1 PC port…

I am just playing through KOTOR 1 on Switch for the first time and it’s great. If I play KOTOR 2, should I get it on Steam instead of switch?
That took way too fucking long and only hurts their company further. Guess I’ll have to dick around in my old emails to try and get something out of this. Would much rather have the original actually advertised content but given how shit Aspyr’s track record is it was hoping for a bit too much.
