Compared side by side, the differences stand out. Doyoky’s terrible bump and it’s oversized handle button makes it uncomfortable at times. Nyxi’s janky face buttons, it’s obnoxiously loud triggers, and the too-large C stick all take away more than is added by its close-to-the-shell handle button and comfortable handles. The lights don’t fully turn off, instead randomly blinking even when set to off. If you want your lights off, you’ll have to physically block them from the inside. Worst of all is that Nyxi controllers send random inputs, rendering them pretty much useless. Given that it’s the same price as if it were first party, that’s absurd.

Doyoky’s face buttons are quite close to GameCube controller’s, and I thoroughly enjoy using it in console mode/handheld mode. Its triggers are great, and I love the C Stick.I’ll eagerly buy any future replicas. There are only two out right now, but hopefully more will come, and ideally Nintendo will wise up and do their own with true GameCube controller pieces.

Wait, so the ones u like can be used in handheld and in docked mode?
Edit: also i liked the honest review
My biggest complaint with GC layout controllers is that the button letters are not rearranged to more closely match the switch button layouts since most games don’t let you rebind controls.
So, do you prefer the dyoky? Has it had any issues with random or dropped inputs?
