Tears of the Kingdom Neogrip review

Got the limited edition Tears of the Kingdom Neogrip accessory from Skull & Co and wanted to share some thoughts:

The grip really makes the Switch more ergonomic, the difference is night and day. If you have large hands there’s no way to go back to handheld mode without a grip.

It comes with 3 different grips in the box, with the trigger/medium grips installed, but for me the plus ones where the right fit for my hands, and feel as ergonomic as the DualSense on the PS5.

D-pad attachments and button covers included make it feel really cool, and the d-pad attachment in particular has made a different in my comfort level.

It does fit the OLED Switch dock, but in my case there’s a tiny bump on the way down, and I need to push softly to make it connect. Not an issue for me, don’t foresee it damaging my dock, but needs to be mentioned.

The dock is usable at wider angles, so depending on how you use it you may need to use different grips. In my experience with the plus grips the angle is perfect for when lounging on a chair while laying the switch a bit on your abdomen.

The attention to detail is superb, to the point that even the half circles on the back match the half circles on the TotK Switch.

I did a mini [review here](https://youtu.be/3_p6t4rzlBo), this product is amazing.

  1. Thank you for your review.

I am looking to buy it as well.

I have a question, does the neogrip fits inside the official totk case?
it will be a waste of money to buy a new case….

I’ve been looking into this grip so this review is much needed. Appreciate it. I had the satisfye grip not to long ago and returned it because I switch between docked and handheld quite a bit. Satisfye grip felt like I was gunna break my switch everytime I took it off and on. The big thing I wonder if you’ve noticed yet or maybe will in the future is the back of the Zelda Oled design wearing off. I’ve seen other grips do this and that’s my biggest worry. I think that since it’s dockable with it on it won’t be an issue at least.

I have one, actually I have a regular white one too and definitely don’t find either dockable… to my standards anyway. So tight it pushes on the dock. Still my favorite grip I’ve used though…. And besides botw and tears I haven’t played any other games docked anyway.
