A special Golden Pokestop event, Searching for Gold, research day is here in Pokemon Go. With that, many Pokestops will turn to gold for a temporary period and spinning them gets more items and also a chance for some Gimmighoul coins. There are also a total of 13 shiny Pokemon to hunt for during this event, making this a rather exciting event for many to play.

    Feel like i made out big this time around, 1 sableeye 2 nose pass and 2 Caterpie, plus mudkip seal and hoothoot the day before! My wife ended up getting 2 nosepass and a caterpie

    As usual, you systematically skip the dialog from Professor Willow (or Rhi or whoever) whenever there are special research missions available.

    You NEVER read a single line and ALWAYS jump to the tasks to be done. Why?

    This shows a TOTAL DISRESPECT for the Niantic team who regularly spends time and efforts to devise nice and entertaining story-lines to ensure that playing Pokémon Go is not merely a question of stupidly and blindly catching pokémons like an automaton.

    I certainly won’t consider becoming one of your patreons until you show a little more respect to the story-tellers at Niantic.

    P.S.: Your cavalier attitude shows us that you don't really give a damn about Niantic efforts to get us involved in the Pokémon stories.

    You're only interested in catching shinies and in fighting.

    Be careful Brandon, you're rapidly becoming a BORING player – of no interest to us…Because you never have anything NEW to tell us…

    i got 9 shinys total from this event, and one was 15/15/14 Magikarp shiny.
    as as i don't already have a hundo or even that good shiny of it, i went ahead and started myself a new mega from this one.
    Though i did not get any shinys from the paid event, all my shinys came from field research, so that's why i was happy that i selected Sableye as at least i got maximum amout of dust from this one.

    I've got 52 shinies where 2 of em where shundo and caught an hundo in the wild and also an shiny nosepass in the wild right after the event ended 😉
