Yay more permanent field effects. Taking out sand makes this stage a million times easier and Maxie does just that. I got the SMUN tile from Holiday Jasmine’s grid since I had the energy to spare, but as you can see from how frantic those last few moves were I ended up forgetting about it lol.

This stage has Wise Entry x2 so I sadly couldn’t use NY Dawn here, so I went with an off-type sand + double flinch clear instead. Sand also turned out to be very useful as it allowed me to buy some free turns at the end with Hilbert’s recoil.

Those burns sure were something. Thorton provides flinches to give Bianca space to finish the job, with SC Jasmine providing buffs and debuffs to help her out.

I prepared this thinking there was a half-sync countdown parameter this week only to realize that there was none lol. So I got the sync countdown options instead to see this clear through. I had a previous attempt where Dawn actually got Sp Atk debuffs to help with N’s multipliers but of course the sync didn’t crit there.

I technically did have a trap unit in Anni Raihan that I could pair up with SS Leaf for a stall clear but since I wanted to use him in the previous stage, I went with a typical off-type clear here instead with everyone’s favorite busted bird. Got quite lucky with flinches here.

That one person who named themselves “BP and TL EX when” (or something to that extent) in that one gauntlet got their wish granted, so maybe this gauntlet will make them add a Thorton alt?
Unfortunate how there are no Wallys in the leaderboard
I'm relieved to have finished this Gauntlet run at the very last minute with 108 wins, far surpassing my 86 PB streak from a few rotations ago. Having now just enough tanks and status setters compared to past runs, finally reaching 100 wins was such a great achievement. Used all of my support and EX pairs by the end. Don't think I'll try this hard in a long while but surpassing the 100 win streak threshold was the one objective that was ultimately met. And last time I checked, I was in rank 150 so it felt even better.

My Boy Anni N finally appears. Even if I didn't got top 100 😥, but 116 wins is very much an improvment from the 86 I got in LG8
Ended up with 125 wins, breaking my goal for reaching 100 wins (and my previous PB of 90 back in January 😅). Don't think I will break that record for a long time, also wanted to take it easy next rotation.
Surprised to see me ending in the top 100, so thats another goal reached. Competition was getting fierce at the end
