I made a spreadsheet to keep track of my progress in TOTK and figured somebody out there would also like to use it!
Got the full adventure log, shrines, lightroots, caves, wells, and armor log plus a list of all the materials you’ll need to upgrade. Still haven’t been able to find a full list of Korok seeds, but I might add those later.
It’s locked for editing so make a copy of it on your personal drive; instructions on first sheet if you need ’em.

Wow, thanks for this!
Thanks. I will never finish this game, that’s official!
Thank you!
I think it’s missing the checklist for hudson signs.
and I guess Koroks but I can’t blame you for this one.
I just use the Tears Companion app.
Awesome – thanks. Now I just need a list of which side quests actually give you worthwhile content.
Awesome! That’s perfect. Thank you so much.
Thanks! This must have been so much work.
The material count is for upgrading armor, right?
Only thing I think that’s useful but missing is Sage’s Wills
Thank you. I’m missing ONE cave/bubbul gem and I have no idea where it is.
This is really cool, will definitely help get the 5 missing wells! A few things are missing though for people who want to get 100%. Sage’s Wills, Old Maps, boss enemies for the 6 medals, Addison, and like others have said the paraglider cloths and hero sets, although if you had all quests and old maps I think that would cover them all.

Not peeking at this because I’m still playing without spoilers until I finish the main quest (and it’s so fun to not know what that will end up looking like!).
But I do want to share one of my favorite Google Drive features: change “edit” to “copy” and it automatically makes a copy for folks when they click.

Take the fun out of exploring and get organized
So, to people who use spreadsheets like this – why do you do it? Do you find checklists fun?
To me, as soon as you commit to 100% completion of a game, it changes from a fun activity to a chore list. Because now you “have” to do all those tasks.
The only games I ever enjoyed 100%ing were Mario 64 DS and Majora’s Mask 3D, and those were games that were relatively light on content, 100% could be done in a couple dozen hours. Not to mention that a couple dozen hours was a couple weeks of free time instead of a month or two because I was a kid…
I’m waiting for master mode to go more completionist. I played the launched content purely for fun without looking anything up. It is mind blowing how discoverable obscure things are.
At least its easier than Hyrule Warriors: DE
Thank you OP this is so helpful!

One thing I like about tears of the kingdom is that there are tons of things to do and check off, but it’s never like “here’s what you need to do and what you haven’t checked off.” Like I don’t know where the caves, wells, or koroks are to have a constant reminder that I haven’t explored them all. But if I want to I can look for them. And they’ve even made a thing so I can see where I’ve been.
Thank you!
Thank you for compiling this!
Would also be good at add a checklist for the compendium.
For the Bubbulfrogs, does an X in column E of the sheet means there’s no Bubbulfrog in the cave? Haven’t gotten too far with Bubbulfrogs yet so wasn’t sure if not every cave had them.
Why not use MapGenie or ZeldaDungeon’s interactive maps, since both are already made and working? They even have tracking categories so you can make your own 100% criteria.
Both also have CONSTANT community contributions, so you can expect that every, literally everything, from common chests to all the 1000 Korok Seedsto be listed.
Map Genie also have a full checklist mode, so you don’t spoil yourself the map, and it also have a pretty good app version.
