Eggs are the loot box of a game. Most people have realized it is very scammy and a great way to milk the whales.
My only shundo came from egg hatch, years ago tho. You can also get a lot of stardust from hatching eggs, which is the one of the best way to pay to win for the friendly whales & John Olivers of this world

I have hatched 2 shiny budew and a shiny bonsly, and evolved them.. did the same with tyrogue but luckily hatched another shiny one a year later..
