Yeah, that Sandslash is an excellent one. It’s the third best one for GL and A.Sandlash is very good there.
Heck, Lanturn is even better. That one it’s the rank one on GL, and both work amazing together in open league.
Gyarados is another rank one on GL. It’s good and can be used on some special cups, although is more difficult to use in the regular league.
Stunfisk is good too, although not as great. Only rank 118 and missing both attack and defense points, but still quite good.
Altaria goes back to being excellent. Rank 13 with one extra defense point compared to the number one. Very good.
Bagon, no. Just no. Salamence is a raid Pokemon exclusively. It won’t work even in Master league and not in any other even as Shellgon. There’s better dragons out there.
Mismagius is very frail, but might have use on a special cup. For now don’t bother powering it up. Not going to work on any if this season cups.
Aron family is bad on PvP. 4x weakness to Fighting, plus Fire, Ground and Water weaknesses makes them very vulnerable without moves to fight back. Even in Steel only cups they get easily defeated by Mawile, Cobalion and Lucario.
Venomoth has no use in the open league, but is strong in the Bug focused leagues and very good when Fire and Rock Pokemon aren’t allowed. Rank three on special cups is good.
That shiny Sableye is pretty, but useless in PvP. Sableye only works when purified using the move Return. Otherwise doesn’t have any strong moves. It needs Return yes or yes.
Axew won’t work that well. Too much attack, and the community day just happened so it cannot get Breaking Swipe for free. Might work in UL but only if you wait until December and evolve then, meanwhile is not good.
Aerodactyl is not good for regular PvP but is very powerful on the Flying Cup. Basically Aerodactyl, Drifblim and Emolga are the top winners there. It will be good there, but bad anywhere else.

As for the best team Lanturn/Stunfisk/Altaria is a top tier team.
With only a couple weaknesses to the Grass/Poison, Water/Poison combos and a bit vulnerable to multi-Ground teams, it has not many blind spots.
If Altaria has Moonblast it will be pretty strong. If it only has Dazzling Gleam it will go down a bit in usefulness but not that much.
But overall is a decent team with very high type coverage and not obvious gaps.
