I have over 15 best friends that I interact with daily and I did not become lucky friends with a single one of them during the course of this event. Maybe they increased it by 0.001% or something, I dunno. Anyone actually see a noticeable increase in lucky friends during the event?

The chance was doubled, from the base 1% to a boosted 2%. It’s never been very high to begin with, so not getting a lucky fired in a week is nothing out of the ordinary. If you had a few hundred friends then you would have seen some difference.
