Almost half a month later and I finally have my collector’s edition of Rain Code. Not sure I’d say that it should have been $110. Considering that Xenoblade Chronicles 3’s collector’s edition was $90 and you got a steel case and art book (much thicker than Rain Code’s) plus the outer box with that nice big piece of art work…
The Shinigami is cute though. I suppose if you broke it down, maybe $12-15 for Shinigami, $10 for the CD, $15 for the book, steel case, I don’t know. The box it comes in while minimalist, is nice. The back has a silhouette of Shinigami and the sides are the title of the game. The slip cover for the box has the back cover of the normal case.
The CD only contains 10 songs. Won’t be touching until after the game.
So yeah there it is. Anyone else bite on the collector’s edition?

Really enjoying the game so far. I thought of getting the CE but the price seemed too high…. Then. Best Buy has that buy 2 get one deal and made my decision much more clear, ha. I really wish they’d make that shinigami into an amiibo

I thought it wasn’t worth the price and went with the standard first release edition (ie. the bonus digital novel).
Maybe if the plush was a scale of humanoid Shinigami, though that recent Pop Up Parade of her looks pretty cheap too for the price…
Enjoy the game!

I wish they had just a steelbook version, I try to avoid big box editions nowadays. They look nice on a shelf…but I’m low on space.

A little exspensive for a collector’s edition but I liked the plush and I’m a sucker

I should receive mine tomorrow! Really exited to play this. I was totally a Daganronpa fan so I can’t wait to see the plot twist in this one!

Is this a RPG or a Visual Novel? Never heard of this game and the videos don’t show any action.
