They should keep this a secret, in my opinion. The switch will no longer be left by kidnappers.

Even though this is fantastic, it is frustrating to know that Nintendo and law enforcement have the same ability to recover stolen systems but fail to do so.

It’s insane that the missing girl’s friend, who was also a child, was the one who thought to locate her with the switch by seeing her get online. You would think the police or parents would note that her switch was missing and watch out for any sign of it being online.

this is actually great but i think publishing this news is not good

My friends in law enforcement. You would be surprised how good an Xbox is for finding abducted people.

  7. That’s funny my house gets broken into and they can’t do anything about it they stole my switch btw

The dumb kidnapper allowed the kid to connect the switch to WiFi. Might as well just let kidnapped kids hold on to their phone and charge it for them.

This is awesome! About time the FIBs did something right and actually protected someone. Even if they did have to rely on the intelligence of a child to do so.

  10. Bro. She was rescued!!! She is going to have a lot of trauma and probably will view Nintendo in an entire new light.

Proof that Nintendo isn’t “evil” as a lot of people claim they are.
