  1. Just looking at the timestamp descriptions, I can see I feel the same way as these guys. I love BOTW and TOTK but there is a lot I don’t like too. I will earmark this for later.

To each their own. To me, Tears of the Kingdom is a vast improvement of an already incredible game, and one of my favorite games of all time.

I haven’t watched GX since everyone left but I seem to remember Andre not being the biggest fan of BOTW as well

Trash clickbait to get people’s attention because they know their channel is stagnant since the former crew left.

I listened to the video while doing chores and surprisingly, I actually agreed with a lot of their points. I adore BotW and appreciate its “simplicity” in regards to its story and how open the game is. I was hooked and didn’t put it down for months back in 2017. However, Tears lost my attention after about 20 hours and I can’t get myself to boot it up again (already moved on to other games). The world is just very overwhelming and not rewarding when you explore it. And the story just sucks so far and doesn’t deliver on what the opening seemingly promised and set up. Hot take, but I think BotW is still the better experience and I enjoyed Skyward Sword much more than what I’ve played of Tears. Hopefully I can get myself to go back to it eventually and maybe my opinions will change. But as of now, I think Tears is an overrated game that is carried by the insane programming feat that went into building the mechanics of the new abilities
